Fellow members:  My urologist has ordered daily ED meds for my Peyronies Disease.  As you know this can be very expensive because my rx insurance does not cover any of the costs.

I would welcome any feedback from any members using meds from India.  I can order these through a Canadian pharmacy at substantial savings.  My urologist prefers that I do not use them, but he has me on testosterone pump (expensive), traumeel cream (expensive), Vit E, Vit C and VED.  Thank you!

I am buying mine from Riverfarmacy and they are OK:
https://www.riverpharmacy.ca/index.php
Buying quantity will reduce the shipment cost even down to zero.
Forum opinion is divided regarding medicines from India but for me they are working fine.

I am in the same boat as James, never had a problem with River however I can not guarantee your experience will be the same.
When you are in tune with the unknown, the known is peaceful.

@James... Are you buying the Tadalafil from River? Does it work as well as the brand name? I'm taking the Cialis brand 5mg daily and it's running me almost $200 a month now.

I'm looking for anyone who's tried the Tadalafil from River(or anywhere overseas), and could compare it to the brand name for me. Is the quality the same, or at least close to the same as the brand name?

Thanks in advance.

I bought from them the 20 mg. Cutting them in 4 pcs to get 5 mg.
Works exactly like the genuine Cialis I bought from a first line pharmacy.
Buying 120 tablets for $255.76, $2.131 per pill, $0.533 per 5 mg daily, one shipment 480 days.
I get free shipment, they are sending by parcel post, paying here $0.7 for delivery to my door.

Hey Guys,

I am very curious as to your experience with Cialis from India. My experience with the Canadian pharmacy was not good. I received 60 pillls at 20mg apiece for around $200. I took one, then two then up to six a day with no effect. I then looked into FDA approved generic Cialis and found the there is no such thing. Eli Lilly owns the patent until 2015 and if it is not manufactured by Eli Lilly in the US it is NOT the real thing. My source of info is Internet Drug News and they say that genuine Cialis has the characteristic imprint marking of a "C" with the mg amount after it. Cheap prices of $3.00 or so and no need for a prescription are red flags. I only say this because my pills from Canadian pharmacy were from India and I intend to get them tested at some point to know what the hell I was ingesting. This source went on to recommend a pharmacy in Tempe, AZ so it could just be a ploy to get business.

Have the pills from River pharmacy been effective? Do they have the same effect as pills prescribed by a US doctor? Are they imprinted and prescribed? I am on the lookout for a cheaper source for Cialis, but those prices and my experience thus far have made me skeptical.

Thanks!

arcadia, I've been using generic tadalafil from India for a few months (about 5mg a night) and there's no question in my mind it works like other PDE5s I've used from the US makers (Viagra, Levitra), albeit more subtly, due to the fact I'm only taking 5mgs.  But my erection quality and blood flow during the day is definitely better - fuller flaccid, etc.  So I couldn't tell you exactly what's in the Indian Tadalafil, but it's definitely something with real potency, not just a placebo.

I don't know the Canadian pharmacy you have bought.
I bought Cialis, Viagra and Pentox from:
https://www.riverpharmacy.ca/index.php
They work exactly same as the expensive ones.
I would like to mention again that I don't have any connection to this supplier, it is just my and other forum members experience.

I get my cialis here:   http://www.theswisspharmacy.com/product_info.php?info=p9531_Tadalafil-Tablets.html

Best price so far. They are legit and I have found no difference between this stuff and the real cialis in terms of performance. Trust me on this. I cut them up into four pieces(lengthwise first) Costco charges $140 for 30 5 mg pills. 8 pills of tadalafil  which equals 32 5 mg pills is $22. Just remember to get the tablets as they are easier to cut up. My last order was for 60 pills which will last me almost 18 months.

To all,

Thanks, guys. It seems that I went to the wrong supplier. I will take your suggestions and thanks for the feedback.

I purchased 60 of the 10mg generic Cialis from River Pharmacy, cutting them in half so it lasts me 4 months. It seems that they don't work as well as the real 5mg Cialis. What I noticed when I compared the pills, the real 5mg Cialis is twice as big as the generic 10mg pill... does anyone know why that would be? How can the smaller dose pill be bigger? Doesn't seem right to me.

I get my generic Viagra from a different source. They work ok, not as well as the real thing, but still worth the savings. And they are the same size as the real thing.

How would one go about testing the pills to find out what we are really ingesting?

james1947

The only way to know the exact composition is to make a lab test.
Regarding the difference about how they are effecting you it may be because ones you cut the 10 mg in two is not coated anymore and dissolves directly. It may be, I can't say for sure.
The size of the pills depend on the additions to the active component.
Finally, it may be really lower quality than the original one, who knows?

Regarding the the size of the 5mg REAL cialis. I weighed a real 5mg Cialis on an 4 place analytical balance, and the thing weighs 18.8 MG. So Lilly is giving you 5 mg of tadalafil and over 13 mg of FILLER!  Pharma companies often do this because the pill is too small, which makes it harder to manufacture ect. The Indian 20mg Cialis weighs 20.05 mg so you are getting 100% tadalafil. Keep in mind that India actually can be more strict with thing like fillers and purity of product, unlike say China. Tadalis-SX is manufactured by Ajanta Pharma , a large multinational publicly traded company and they follow GMP procedures. See the wiki link. Ajanta Pharma - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Again I can vouch for the fact that Tadalis-SX works exactly like the real deal. if you need 2 5MG pills(10mg) of the real cialis then 1/2 of the 20mg Tadalis works the exact same.

@incautious... thank you for that information. I do have 1 more question if you don't mind. Regarding the filler that Cialis uses, what is the filler? I wonder if they put something in it that makes the active ingredient work better, or if it's nothing relevant at all. Thank you.

It can be many things see the wiki link:  Excipient - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the case of  real Cialis, I believe that in the 5mg size it is just added to increase bulk in order to ease manufacturing.
I also have real 20 mg pills and they are almost the same size as  the 5 mg pills. So my takeaway is, use the the tadalis, for me it works the exact same as the real deal at less than 1/4 the price.
