Has anyone purchase the small medium or large plan from the PDI site and had any success? It's a lot of money. I'm just on pentox because I don't want to resort to traction or VED this early on with no promises of success.

My opinion, PDI is a good money maker.

Don't waste your money on PDI's offerings.  Pentox and CoQ10 are the top oral treatments and your best bet is to shop around to get the best price on those.  I used PDI for a while years ago, but nowadays there are much better strategies for dealing with Peyronie's.  PDI has always pushed incredibly expensive Neprinol which I used for an extended length of time and found to be totally useless for Peyronie's.  - George

Thanks! Is there anyone out there in my boat that's just doing oral treatments because they can still have sex (45 degree bend) and don't want to go through the trouble of VED/traction routines? Part of me just wants to go the surgery route and be done with this

Yes NDfan. I'm in the same boat. Which type of surgery are you considering?

Surgery is invasive and there are risks. I had surgery and am satisfied with the results. But I highly recommend trying other options before comsidering surgery.

Honestly I haven't really looked much into surgery. I see all options have risks that I'm not willing to take at this point. I'm a year in so maybe I'll be one of the few lucky ones where it just goes away. However, you would think one of those people would have posted on here.

I would add that if you decide for surgery, be SURE to select a surgeon who has done a LOT of them with good outcomes.  You really need a penile surgical specialist, because this is not only invasive, it is also very delicate.  One mistake or oversight can have grave consequences for the future.

Lwillis - how much out of pocket was your surgery? Complete removal of curvature?

LWillisjr

I was fortunate in the my surgery was covered. I did have some copays that amounted to about $600 toward the nurologist fee and about another $600 for the hospital/doctor. So maybe $1200-1400 total out of pocket.

(according to the statments I received later, unsurance covered about $25k).
