Hi I'm new to this forum.  I'm pretty consumed with this peyronies.  The more I read about it the more it depresses me.
My problem started about a year ago.  I believe it started after a night with my girlfriend when I hurt myself. There was a bit of swelling and a little pain that went away after a few days.  I didn't think much of it.  A few weeks later I started experiencing pain only when erect.  Again I waited to see if it would go away on it's own.  It didn't.  I went to the doctor 6 months ago.  He prescribed me meloxicam and set me up with a urologist. At that point the pain seemed to be getting better but I noticed a curve to the left when coming down from an erection or flaccid.  I always had an upward curve when fully erect.   Also a small lump appeared which seems to be on both sides of the shaft about 3/4 of the way up.

When I saw the urologist he checked me out by feeling the lump.  He told me I had peyronies and that when it is caused by injury 50% of men would heal with no treatment.  He sent me home with a pamphlet.  The lump seemed to get smaller but the pain seemed to be getting worse.  Currently my pain is where the lump is and at the base of the shaft.  After the appointment I started reading and stumbled on this website.
I decided to try some supplements.  Here is what I've been taking for the last 2 months; serrapeptase, acal, L-arginine, Ubiquinol, omega 3 and bromelain.  The lumps (I think 2) seem to be getting smaller but my main concern is the pain.  Currently I'm single and I blame it mostly on the pain.

After reading the posts in this forum and other websites I've decided to make another appointment with the uro to ask for Pentox.  Any further advise from anyone would be much appreciated.

Sorry you get to an incompetent not updated doctor. Pentox is helping most people with pain and also increasing the blood flow.
The forum opinion is that Pentox is the most helpfull medication for Peyronies, in many aspects.

If anyone could answer this I would appreciate it.  I keep reading that the plaque forms on the Tunica Albuginea. Is it possible to have plaque on the corpus spongiosum?

I tried to find any information about that, because I have an indentation in my CS. I couldn't find an answer. I asked once if the surrounding fascias could have scars too and cause deformations, but nothing.

Went back to the Uro.  I told him that the pain was getting worse.   He told me that he has seen many Peyronies Disease patients and that mine was mild. He said I should give it another year to heal.
Can someone please recommend a uro in Toronto Canada? Also I was wondering if ved could help with pain as well as curve as the curve seems to be getting worse in my case. Can someone also recommend a ved for this please.

Thanks.

Dr. Ethan Grober at Mt. Sinai/Women's College is a urologist who prescribes Pentox for peyronies.  He also apparently does verapamil injections and surgery if necessary.

I should have added that if you are willing to travel there is Dr. Anthony Bella in Ottawa and Dr. Brock in London (Ontario).  Unfortunately I do not know any other doctor in the Toronto area that prescribes Pentox or who does a lot of work on peyronies disease.  The urology field is getting more and more specialized and thus many urologists are moving away from treating peyronies disease and leaving that to the hands of "Male Sexual Health" urologists.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to try to  get an appointment with Dr. Grober.
