Howdy,
I'm 64 years old. My erection has always had a bend downward, my whole life. Never a problem at all and I really never thought about it much. It didn't affect my sex life. Two weeks ago I noticed that my erection no longer bent downward, it is now straight in terms of up/down, but has developed a bend to the right, Starts about halfway up. Not real severe but a bend nonetheless. No Pain, no plaque that I can feel, no change in hardness of erection. My erection starts out fine at the base and then seems to indent halfway up and goes right--maybe 25 degrees or so.
Just don't know what to expect from here, and whether it will continue bending, whether plaque will develop, and so on. I am in a wait and see mode and am taking 2,000 of Acetyl-L Arginine.
Just wanted to present my situation. Has anyone else had what seems like a congenital bend change shape like I have? Just groping for answers. I am thinking about going to a urologist for advice and a sonograph to see if there is plaque developing that I can't feel. Thanks.

You can of course develop Peyronies Disease regardless of the natural pre-existing shape or angle of your penis.  My guess is that like all of us that is what you are experiencing but you need a good diagnoses from a doctor that will do more than say "Yep, Peyronies Disease.  Nothing much can be done.  Take Vitamin E and come back in 6 months.  That is the TYPICAL response.

I will second Hawk and will add that earliest as possible treatment will prevent the Peyronies progress and may reverse the symptoms.
You have to see a Peyronies specialist as soon as you can, the "wait and see" is the worst thing you can do.

Thank you both very much for your responses. Much appreciated. I guess I am off to the Urologist.
