Hi guys i dont know where to post this so i am doing it here. hope its ok.
I have noticed that my scar has moved a lot!! Where it used to be in the middle of the penis it is now towards the base. Is this normal ? Its also gotten bigger then smaller bla bla....Have not been taking any meds at all really. With the latest pain that started i became interested in fighting this thing once again. All Doctors tell me nothing can be done and it will always be there. What a drag.
Anyway its not giving me the deformity i had any more and sometime not even noticeable. But its a big lump i cn feel when soft and still disturbing. Thank you for reading.

I am sorry that you have noticed your plaque increasing in size. I might have to go tough love on you now and ask how you have 43 posts on this forum, but you are not taking any meds like Pentoxyfylline? Why haven't you found a different doctor given that this forum emphasizes the importance of finding a doctor that knows about this disease? I suggest re-reading the "must read before posting" document that talks about medications and gives advice on finding Peyronie's-savvy doctors: MUST READ BEFORE YOU POST - Information for new members - Peyronies Society Forums

If you want to get serious about fighting this disease, you have to take responsibility for yourself and follow the advice on this forum. It's OK to vent, we all do, but you have to take real, meaningful steps to heal yourself.

Good luck,

Get a referral from either your family doctor or general uro to see a peyronies specialist and get some coq10 online and a traction device in the meantime. Doing nothing is no good.

While I'm inclined to agree with the previous two replies I would say that if your deformity has lessened along with the plaque size that I'd still want to see a good specialist but point out you are seeing some improvement and go gently.

If your deformity is minimal I'd certainly be wary of using traction or a VED that might just make matters worse but CoQ10, L-Arginine and ALC are supplements you can buy yourself without even needing a prescription and I wouldn't wait a minute if you have been experiencing pain.

I'm afraid I don't know enough about your history to comment further but your plaque progress sounds similar to mine and the first doctor I saw told me there was no treatment, no cure and it would never go away. He was an idiot so I found myself another doctor who immediately prescribed Pentox and Cialis.

Justo,

Plaque does not move.  You may have some scar tissue that reduced a bit then later a flare up of new scar tissue.

Read Skjalborg post.  I echo everything he said.

Also, I will move this topic.  It fits well under either Progression of Peyronies Disease board or the General questions and comments board.  The introduction board is for new member making their first several posts in the same topic.

Traction and the Ved have to be used cautiously and don't over do it or manipulate it in anyway or do anything crazy with it follow it strickly. Pentox and Cialis together work really good and the 5 mg Cialis once a day is convenient.

You are right bro! And I appreciate very much what you wrote. The thing is that it got real small...I thought it was gonna go away...but then it came back. Now its way further towards the base of the penis and not at all in the middle! Thats why I found it strange. Anyway I am back on Pentox and L Arginine. I cannot afford cialis at the moment. And I am in Argentina working to boot so....Not sure where I can find it. I heard there is many fake Cialis pills here anyway and not sure i want to buy here.
Anyway thank you for this response! You are totally right about the responsibility! I am back on the road to recovery with the medicine and hope it recedes as before. Thank you all who responded as well. J

You might consider viagra, it is very cheap at the local pharmacy's.   If I remember correctly when I was there they cost about 1 peso (20 cents usd) per 50mg pill.  the pills can be cut in half or quarters.

Mine has done the same as yours. Mine inflammation/plaque started just under the head on the right side of my shaft. Over time it seemed to get smaller till it was gone but another below that appeared. It seemed as though it was moving down the shaft. It went from just under the head to very near the base about 3/4 of the way down as of right now. Mine always seem to be in a constant state of change. Smaller bigger almost gone at times. I am hoping that since they are always changing it means it could resolve. I am coming up on 3 years with this condition.

Wow....i guess this is not going away anytime soon.
