Can penis exercises help with curvature straightening / peyronies?

Hi there,

Came across some sites saying they can. Does anyone use exercises in their routine?

Thanks!

Hawk

Number one, the very term Penis Exercise should tell you all you need to now about those sites.  The penis is not a muscle.  There is no such thing as penis exercises.  All you can exercise is your hand.  The penis is largely spongy tissue that responds to regulated blood flow through a network of blood vessels.

You can gently massage your penis and it won't hurt.  It may even help if used in connection with other things like Pentox, mild heat therapy, etc.  The jelqing and other "exercises" listed on those sites is responsible for more men being here with damaged penises than any other single identified activity with the possible exception of female-on-top accidents during sex.

I did the Jelqing to straighten my curve for just over a month not realizing the dangers involved. I was not rough and thankfully it does not appear that I damaged my penis further. But after all that I've read, I won't be doing them anymore!

However, I must say that the daily lubricating/stroking of the penis (normally without but sometimes with ejaculation) had nice psychological benefits. I think i'll continue the practice sans the JQ.

Which are these dangers? I don't think if you do them gently they would do harm, I think more the opposite . And Hawk, how sure are you about your claim that you can't exercise your penis? There are many guys out there who claim that they gained some size.

Since I started fighting back against this curse, I've gotten psychotic when it comes to penis massage. Barely 5 minutes pass without me massaging it. It's just my way of keeping blood flowing into it.

Currently the only scientific evidence we have is based on traction and VED studies.

In my case, manual stretching has nearly cured my Peyronie's, and now I can finally say that with conviction. I stretch downward and angled to both sides, it seems to help if I'm a bit engorged. Do this at your own risk.

You only get one penis and peyronies has a mind of it's own.

I tried Jelqing for just over 3 months. Whilst it did me no harm, it did nothing to correct the curvature. I will say that the penis looked and felt fuller. So I think it probably helped with blood flow.

The archives here have quite a few stories of guys who permanently damaged there penis by lightly jelqing.  I have no idea why, but obviously I would not recommend  it.

There are ways of gaining some size; some of them are even proven.

What Hawk is objecting to--quite rightly--is calling it "exercise." Traction, VED, jelquing, or hanging weights from your penis, are all passive stretching techniques. They aren't working a muscle system. They are just pulling on tissues.

Incidentally, the weight-hanging techniques can result in very large increases in penis size; some Hindu sects, such as the wandering Sadhus, have done it for centuries. Unfortunately, it also tends to result in a penis that doesn't get erect any more because of nerve damage, and also gives you a really long, skinny penis.

But if you only use your penis for decoration...

There are many men in this entire world who have curved penis. Actually this is a disease which is known as peyronies disease. Still now there is no exact reason for this disease but in general study has shown that it is caused due to trauma that causes scar tissue to build beneath the skin of penis. It depends on the location of scar tissue which can cause erect penis to curve upward, downward or other side.
When there is no option to cure the disease then the best option to cure it is by the use of Peyronies Device. This device is one of the best options to [Commercial link selling traction devices removed]. This is a complete treatment option as its main part consists of traction device which is clinicaly approved to cure curve penis. With the use of traction device, your penis curvature will improve and along with that, the sex life will also improve. Even it can increase the size of penis and also increases blood flow to the penis.

While some curvature may be natural and not a problem, Peyronie's specifically appears to be a "change" of shape/size due to interference with the Tunica.  The Tunica is a fibrous sleeve, with fibers running around and lengthwise.  The length of these fibers determines girth and length of the erection by constraining the erectile tissue.  Scarring which effectively glues some of the fibers together causes the severe bend (or hourglass, if around the whole sleeve) and is often in response to injury of some sort.  It may also happen spontaneously due to other unknown factors, like Duprene's Contracture or other fibrosis conditions.

The conservative approach to treatment is to soften the scar tissue with meds/supplements and stretch it in order to reduce its effect.  This stretching can be accomplished with traction or a Vacuum Erection Device (VED). The goal is to make the penis straight enough to use.

Increase of overall size implies stretching the Tunica beyond what it has grown/developed to be, and is likely to cause injury to the fibers.  Scarring is likely to develop as this injury heals, which makes a penis enlargement/exercise program risky in my opinion.  Using traction or VED in an attempt to increase size may render your penis unusable.

I'd much rather have 5 1/2 functional inches than 8 which don't work.

straightening is more of a tension based method than anything. You have to hold gradually have enough force straightening it slow over time to eventually get rid of the plaque buildup or counter it. I would think exercising would irritate the problem and make it worse, but I'm no expert on the exercise portion. maybe it just depends on how vigorous the exercises are done.

MoatazKad

just a clarification

when using the VED to re-gain some of the lost length or girth, is this what is being referred to as penis enlargment or is this taking a healthy penis and then attempting to expand it beyond its limits.

I have to use traction soon. It's been instructed and I'm told that it's very important by my surgeon.

I have had a grafting technique which involves new tissue being introduced, however.  This new tissue will need stretching from 1-3 hours per day initially, and up to 6 hours a day later on. But, as I say, this is new tissue. Whether it works on the existing tissue, I'm not sure. I will ask my surgeon for his opinion.

You are not the only one got here after jelquing.
It causes Peyronies and ED.
You have stated that even VED doesn't seem to work. How long you are on VED?
