Just finished Surgery for Congenital Curvature

Hi All,

I just finished surgery for the correction of downward congenital penile curvature. The doctor also found that there was a venous leakage: the superficial dorsal vein was too large and was probably the reason that prevented long rigid erections.

The glans seem swollen. I can pee without pain.
Not sure if the pain killers are the reason why I dont feel pain

I will speak with my doctor tomorrow. He saw me for one or two minutes and told me there were 3 excisions and that it went perfect and that I am 100% straight.

Hi Tim,

Yes I did, he is a great doctor.

Its too early to decide as its my first day post op but ai believe everything should be fine.

The doctor is really supportive and I did mention to him that he was highly recommended by a few people, including a decent man called Tim :-)

Will update on the progress.

Second day after surgery, not much pain I guess. Still taking some oral pain killers. Glans still swollen, but I am very optimistic. No nocturnal erections so far but I guess thats because I am taking two kinds of pills to supress it, to enable better healing of the defects.

Updates for DAY 4 POST OP for Congenital Curvature:

So far I believe the surgery went good. It is my 4th day post-op and the swelling is going down, peeing is straight now. I'm taking medication to prevent nocturnal erections. No signficant pain so far, just some minor irritation by the sutures. Doctor said post op that I am now straight 100%.

The doctor had amazing interpersonal skills and a very nice gentleman, while at the same time very confident in what he does.

I cannot comment on glans sensation as it is too early.

I will start penile physiotherapy soon.

I noticed a small indentation but I guess that will go away with healing and the swelling going gone.

There appears not signs of hematoma, which is good.

I still have a long road for healing but will always keep you guys posted.

UPDATE FOR Day 8 post op

All swelling almost completely gone

Started penile physiotherapy

Circumcision sutures starting to collapse

No pain, but still on pain killers anyways

There appeas no loss of sensation so far, whenever i touch somehwere i feel it

There was a lymph fluid build up but going down day by day very noticably

Taking medicine to precent nocturnal erections

Cannot comment on length as I said taking heavy meds to prevent nocturnal erections for better healing

There appears very minor discoloration that is fading away quickly
