Hey guys

Does someone here has experience with bruises that just wont heal?

I had a injury back in september during intercourse. I crushed my penis against here pelvic bone. It wasn't a real fracture I didn't loose my erection and I could finish. The next morning when I woke up I noticed my penis were deformed like there is a part of the penis missing on the left side of the shaft beginning from the middle and a bruise/discoloration, barely visible. But I didn't worry about that because lack of pain and the fact that I could have a normal erection without any deformation. These deformations were visible only when semi-erect. The following month I masturbated normal and had intercourse with my girlfriend like normal without any pain. One morning after I had sex with here, I woke up and my penis was swollen. Not like an eggplant. There was no discoloration, just a bit swollen above the mid shaft. I stopped everything and went to an urologist a few days later. He just prescribed me a heparin gel for the hematoma and didn't give me a hint if it's really broken or if it's going to be worse. My penis was two weeks swollen, and finally went to normal. But the bruise was still there like it is today, after 4 months.

I waited a month and finally thought I could masturbate. I just wanted to empty myself because I had this incredible urge to. I didn't even touch him right I just massaged my self under the glance and ejaculated the hell out of me after 10 seconds. I was scared, because he was stretching himself to much while ejaculating, that something will tear again. And that was probably the case. Immediately after I ejaculated, I felt a pulsating feeling, there where the bruise were and still is. It didn't hurt at all, It was just an unusual feeling.

Now, 4 and a half months, the bruise seems bigger, pain everywhere, palpable plaque on the OPPOSITE side (what the hell?) and a visible indentation, penis shorthening and deviation when semi-erect, pain when flaccid and less when erect, but when full erect I have the feeling like something is tearing again. It's a short sensation of pain. He feels pretty normal when flaccid. That was not the case back than I had a hard-flaccid all the time. I would think that everything is healing fine, if there isn't this bruise. Can the torn tunica cause bruises like that? It's just a purplelish discoloration.

I still can have erections in seconds. How is this possible with a damaged tunica. I mean that damaged that there is a recurring  bruise.
Sorry for my bad english, but I'm from Bosnia and my only source of information related to this problem is on this site.

I'm thankful for any advice.

Welcome to the forum :) You will find her usefull information, especially that have too many uro's that don't know to much about Peyronies.
I will advise you to get urgently to a compatible urologist and read the forum as much as you can to understand what other had made in your situation.

Thanks for the answer James
The problem is I've read dozens of threads and never found something similar to my problem. There is only one uro in my region. The medication that other members of this forum use are not available in my country and if it were I'm not in the best financial situation. Ok that are all my problems where others here can't help.

I'm just seeking for information.
Why is there a bruise after 4 months?
I'm scared it could be something worse. ???

Hawk

I don't think anyone here is qualified to say why you have a bruise after 4 months.  Bruises are blood from broken blood vessels that is trapped n the tissue.  Usually after the injury is a week old warm water and gentle massage will help clear the bruise if the injury is not still bleeding.

Your ability to get an erection means little.  There are men on this forum that have a 90 degree bend like the letter "L" that can get firm erections.  You need a GOOD doctor.

That's very discouraging. I thought maybe that could be the surrounding tissues or however... I'll just have to wait.

Thanks for your time.

The problem is that we are not doctors and even if we were, can't diagnose just by Internet. Sorry for your disappointment, I am also living in a place that is very difficult, maybe impossible to find a decent uro and Peyronies specialist and I know is not easy.

Hey guys

Today morning my penis were straight when he was fully erect. Now, 10 hours later, fully erect and hard as rock but has a bad curve to the left. How is such a change possible? My skin on the penis feels overstreched too. It's like my penis is trying to turtle and become erect in the same time. Such weird feeling. Any idea?

And yeah, the doctor said that the bruise is just a discoloration from my circumcision scar, but I'm still not sure about that.

thanks :)

To your question:
Many on the forum have had sudden changes, to good or bad so your sudden change does not sound strange to me.
Did your doctor give you an ultrasound to confirm Peyronies?  Did he give you some treatment?

I had what I thought was a bruise like you but really the doctor said it was just discolouration and he was right.

damian

Hey Noway
This discoloration that I have may not be a bruise, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before my injury. Now I have a pretty bad indentation where the bruise/discoloration is when erect and less visible when flaccid, but no palpable plaque there. I'm still not sure if I have Peyronies or maybe normal wound healing. Time will show. However, it seems to develop scar tissue on several places along my shaft. It's half a year since the injury and I have lost some girth and maybe half an inch on length. It's pretty depressing not to know when it's gonna stop. The only pain I experience is on the opposite side of the shaft from the discoloration. There is a small lump, but no bigger deformation.
I'm using Pentox for 3-4 weeks. I'm not sure it's helping, but it's early to say.
Sorry for my bad English.

damian

Sorry James, I didn't see your post until now.
No, he didn't even mention Peyronies. He pinched and squeezed my penis and said He couldn't feel anything and the pain I expirience is from my prostatitis. He did ultrasound, but to confirm me with prostatitis. My penis did hurt several hours after the visit. My lumps are small in size and are barely palpable, but it seems that I have lots of them.

funnyfarm

FYI, you can confirm an enlarged prostate with ultrasound, but not not prostatitis.  Unfortunately prostatitis can only be diagnosed by the history or your symptoms, so there is always the possibility of misdiagnosis even with a good doctor.

I know that. He prescribed me strong antibiotics. I should drink all of the three pills which where in the packet at once. I gave it a chance, but I was sure it wouldn't help. I have almost all symptoms of prostatitis, but not the bacterial one. I had my urine checked two weeks before and it was clear. I noticed the first symptoms of prostatitis weeks after my injury. I don't think it's a coincidence. It is related, but I don't know how. Maybe stress that was caused by suffering with this. Maybe I injured my prostata too. Who knows.

funnyfarm

I have the same problem, they occurred around the same time (Peyronies Disease and prostatis).  In my case the prostatis is a abacterial (not from bacteria).  I have to warn you in many cases the antibiotic will help or a week or two, EVEN THOUGH IT IS NOT BACTERIAL PROSTATIS !    This is because the antibiotic disrupts the gut flora which causes the immune system to down regulate which results in reduced swelling everywhere.  But it is only a temporary reduction in swelling and will stop soon after you discontinue the antibiotic.    The problem is the doctor will interpret this as the antibiotic is working (ie you have bacterial prostatis) and he will prescribe something stronger for a longer duration and the same thing will happen.  Unfortunately though the strong antibiotics can in some cases cause bad damage to your whole body.

@funnyfarm

Yes strong antibiotics can cause bad damage to your whole body we need more Solid Contributors like you on this forum. So im guessing your eating these antibiotics like candy funnyfarm?

funnyfarm

No definitely not.  I am just trying to point out what I learned on the prostatitis forum.  Many guys follow the doctors advice without considering the consequences of taking longer term fluoroquinolone antibiotics like cipro and levaquin and end up in worse shape with irreversible damage from the drug.   And yes, some doctors hand them out like candy in order to appease the desperate patient for a disease that has no effective cure.

I obviously do not advocate indiscriminate use of antibiotics but the class of antibiotics that you mention are known to actually have anti-collagen / anti-fibrotic properties.  That's what very long term use such as s necessary for anthrax can lead to tendon damage.  I think they have also been used to prevent adhesions after surgery, at least in one study.

Personally I don't like your uro as you should not have pain for hours after his checks.
Maybe you need to see an other uro.

Hawk,  I should have been more clear, I have not heard any reports of Peyronies Disease from the antibiotic usage.  But yes permanent tendon damage, chronic diarrhea, ulcerated colon, ect. Some guys stay on them for years to keep the prostate inflammation down, but the consequences can be devastating.

The fact that anyone would stay on an powerful antibiotic for years just speaks to how little effort people put into taking charge of their health.  I have literally met people getting radiation from the radiation oncology department that could not tell you the kind of cancer they have.  When I run into things like that it is all I can do try to keep a somewhat normal expression on my face.

I read on some other thread that you are using a non medical grade ved, but achieving some results. How long are you using it? And where did you buy it? I'm short on money and it would be too expensive for me to ship one from the US.

He's the only uro in my region and it wouldn't surprise me if he never heard of this disease.

Hawk

There is absoutly no way to "injure" your prostate from having intercourse.  Your prostate is deep inside of your body.

But maybe the pelvic floor. I have no clue. I think it's more stress related.

I am using the VED for more than one year now, i get back 1.5cm from the 6cm lost to Peyronies and some girth.
I bought it in a local sex toy's shop, it was $35. Have a hand pump like the medical ones but have to work carefully with it as the connection between the pipe and the tube is not strong and can broke.
