Unusual Sexual Happening- Can anyone relate?

I am still in the acute stage of peyronies and sexually active. For the record, I have approximately 45 degree curvature to the left near the head of my penis. I recently experienced something odd during sex, and was wondering if anyone else noticed this either (or something similar). The last time I received oral sex was a few days ago- I could not seem to lose my erection afterward. I had ejaculated but still maintained a full erection. My partner had to repeat the process about fifteen minutes later before I ejaculated again and finally went back to the flaccid state. This was very strange to me because even before I had Peyronies disease, I would never ejaculate and remain erect for a whole fifteen minutes afterward only to still have ejaculation happen again. Usually, I would go flaccid, wait for a few minutes until I could achieve another erection and then continue sex. I am trying to assume this is related to my recent development of Peyronies disease- which I have still not started treatment for (but plan to tomorrow in the form of a traction device.)Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Or perhaps some type of similar change in sexual function that only occurred after the onset of Peyronies? I'm simply wondering because this is just one of the strange curveballs (no pun intended) that the onset of Peyronies has thrown me. Thanks guys.

In addition- feel free to relate any other similar experience during sex to this. I'm just trying to get some understanding and perspective.

Soma,

I have somewhat reduced penile sensitivity possibly due to scar tissue pushing on the nerve bundle on the shaft. This has improved in time but was somewhat acute early on. In your case, while it's possible that Peyronie's reduced your "downtime" to zero, it's more likely there were other factors involved. Are you on any medications? Had it been awhile since the last time you had sex/ oral?

For me, when I started getting used to the disease I could relax more during sex and I enjoyed it a lot more. Reducing stress can improve erections, so maybe it was this?

Best,

Yes, actually it had been awhile (about 2 weeks) since I had any type of sex. I'm not sure exactly why the "downtime" was reduced to zero and I can only use conjecture to try and deduce that perhaps it was a peyronies related thing. While, on the other hand, my doctor has not changed my medications- I am just taking NSAIDS for the pain. I do hope I get used to this and having stress free sex in due time.

Ok, I'm guessing you're not a middle aged man.

Soma

Your guess is correct, I am 22 which my doctor has told me is rather young for a peyronies patient.

Soma, sorry don't know what happened but the rest of my post was cut off.  Yes, I think that just as Peyronies plague will restrict the blood flow into the penis, it may also restrict it coming out of the penis.  My opinion.  This happens to me too.  Are you on any ED mess such as Viagra or Cialis?  That can also have the effect.

I think you have youth on your side to help heal.  My condition is getting better over time and I'm much older (51).

Prolactin prolongs the refractory period, and dopamine suppresses prolactin.

I find that I stay partially erect long after sex and can get an erection again no more than 20 or 30 minutes later, but it's a lot different if I'm alone. Usually I get flaccid immediately after ejaculation. I think you get much, much more dopamine when you have sex with a real, live partner, and that could help explain the physiology of what's going on.

Thanks for your responses so far, they are reassuringly well thought out and well worth taking into consideration while I am trying to sort out the confusion surrounding my recent onset of Peyronies. For reference to answer your question, restore, I am not on any ED meds at the moment. I am still getting erections despite Peyronies. Admittedly, I experimented with viagra once or twice before out of misguided curiosity over having better sex. I don't think it was a good idea in retrospect and was uncomfortable. But my doctor is aware of this and told me not to beat myself up over a brief misuse of a prescription medication. The next time I am with my partner I'll make sure to monitor whether anything unusual happens again.
