I am 54 years old and my wife and I have been married for 27 years.  For the past year I have had a bend at the base of my penis on the right side.  I went to the urologist about a year ago and he told me to start taking vitamin E which I have.  It has not helped.  I don't know what to do.  All I want is to have my normal sex life back with my wife that we once had.  I want this stuff to go away.  I do not want to have surgery, and I really don't want to buy some type expensive traction device that does not work.  Any suggestions would be helpful.

Sorry to hear that you encountered an incompetent uro as many of us.
Very few people on the forum reported some benefits from vitamin E.

I was proposing a daily treatment as bellow:
3*400mg Pentox (Trental), myself taking 2*400mg because side effects
2.5 to 5mg Cialis
2*500mg Acetyl L-Carnitine, some are taking more
2*1000mg L-Arginine
3*100mg Ubiquinol, myself taking 2*100mg
VED, 20 minutes, some using traction device
You can expect improvements after six months or more, some people have faster improvement. Consistency is the key of this treatment.

I will advise you also to read the forum to understand what and how the above medications/supplements are helping with Peyronies.

Panther,

Welcome to the forum.  I understand your frustration and concern.  Every one here wants what you want but for the most part we workwith the hand we are dealt.  At some point you will have to come to grips with what IS, and expend your energy deciding on your options, not on wishing thing were different.  Peyronies Disease takes a plan of action and a commitment to educate yourself, find solutions that are likely to help, and then the commitment to follow through. Before this site was launched, that was a very daunting, if not a near impossible task.  You now have a support community of men and women to help you with knowledge, understanding, and first hand experience about your options.

In the final analysis however, you will to a large extent determine how well you do physically and to an even greater extent on how you do psychologically.

Good luck.

Panther,

Vitamin E is a joke!  It doesn't do anything for peyronies, and high doses could be bad for the prostate. Try pentox, this stuff worked for me, I'm currently on a 4 month break from it, it really works!

First of all thanks for all the support thus far.  Secondly how does one get pentox??  Also my bend is located more in the scrotum than in the penis itself.  I was wondering if this in normal??

Pentox is a prescription medication, but is very cheap and you can buy by the Internet at the link bellow or other Internet sources.
Myself and other board members bought from them, they are reliable:

Regarding:
QuoteAlso my bend is located more in the scrotum than in the penis itself.
One of my plaques that is causing a strong bent to the left is located very close to the penis base. Do you really mean yours is in the scrotum or in the part of the penis that is hidden inside the body?
Regarding vitamin E, my opinion is same as ComeBackKid opinion, but we have at least two testimonies on the forum that vitamin E is helping.

Wow! Thats a great link and a phenomenal price, it doesnt appear that thevrequire a script. I just ordered mine yesterday from a site in Australia, I thought it was cheap but it seems I overpaid. :-[

The part of my penis that contains the plaque is inside of my scrotum.  This causes the bend when I am erect.  Is this normal or is the plaque normally outside of the scrotum??  Thank you for the information about the pentox.
