Hi, less than a week ago I had surgery to treat downwards congenital curvature. To avoid nerve damage urologist dissected vein on top of my penis (deep dorsal vein). Underneath I had 2 ellipses excised and because it wasn't enough I had 1 extra non absorbable suture. Right after surgery I had no pain or anything but now I am worried because it seems that I have no feeling in my glands. Did anyone had similar thing? Did it got better with time or was it permanent? I can feel the touch on my skin up to glands no problem and I don't think this loss of sensation its due to circumcision. I still have some swelling but what I am afraid is nerve damage. Thanks in advance for reply.

It is very possible that this is due to swelling from the surgery. I would give it time as healing can be a long slow process. You need to continue to observe any changes and then evaulate your feeling sensation once all the swelling goes down. This could take up to 2 to 4 weeks.
