Hi All,
I am fairly new to Peyronies Disease. I had heard of it but didn't know what was up (no pun intended) when I discovered my new bend a few months ago. I normally am curved some. But I could feel a lump (scar tissue) inside and I was feeling a tightening sensation on erection and sort of a mild stinging or ach at times. After many bad thoughts including is this cancer I did some Internet research. Peyronies came into view. I talked to my doctor. He gave me a exam and concurred with me. Not a serious case but it is there. I'm not good at math so can't tell how much of a extra bend I have. Being a Gay man I don't have the typical "male" issues with my bend. My partner and I do fine. I discussed Vitamin E with my doctor and he told me how much to take. After a full bottle of it... about two months worth it had no affect.
He then gave me a prescription for Pentoxifylline ER 400 MG tablets. I've been on three a day for the last few weeks. He said it could take up to three months for any change to show up. I am hopeful. I still have full function of my Penis for what "I" need it to do. I hope the medication does some good. I probably would not consider undertaking surgical intervention unless I  loose functionality. Email if you'd like. I am open to all questions.
Best,
John

I suppose your doctor is right that you have Peyronies, so welcome to the forum.
If your only problem is some more bent and a small lump, Pentox 3*400mg may be enough for a treatment.
It will not be bad to add to your treatment also L-Arginine 2*1000mg and Ubiquinol 2*100mg per day.
Don't expect results before taking it for at least six months. It works, but it works slowly.
I am proposing you to read the VED forum, VED may help you also.

Thanks for posting John.

We are learning that more men have this than we thought. Even mild cases. So apprecaite you posting and sharing with the rest of us. Please keep us updated on whether the Pentox has any effect or not.

Hi John,
I would strongly reccommend that you read what i wrote on Coastalpete's thread entitled Hello Everyone, this is on under the heading of Introduce Yourself.
In it I talk about how much I have been helped by using a single cylinder VED ( vacuum erectile device).
I have only been using it since Aug 1 this year and have regained the girth I always had as well as some of the length lost from having this disease for the last 6 or 7 years without getting around to seeking tratment.
I think everyone should have one,Peyronies Disease or not!
I got mine on the NHS as I live in UK and my urologist prescribed it. I think they cost about
£230 here. You should get the manual one as oposed to battery opperated. This allows you to control more accurately the critical matter of how much you vacuum pump and at what speed.
This should be very VERY moderate at first, till your tool gets used to being stretched like this.
I really feel it has restored hope and a sense of going towards a full reversal of the alarming
shrinkage I had been experiencing all this time.
Ask anything you need to.I'll try to answer as fully and frankly as I can.
