Couldthis be anything BESIDES Peyronies?

Well here's my story:

- 2 months ago, I masturbated to relieve a burning sensation. It caused my entire penis to swell up and turn red. The swelling is somewhat normal. Ever since I was circumcised in 2010, the skin near the glans would fill up anytime I masturbated (which really isn't that often). I was prescribed cortisone cream, skin peeled, and I was fine within a week.

- 1 month ago, I masturbated twice. Once at night, once in the morning. It was fine the first time, but the second time I did not achieve a full erection. My penis became hourglass shaped and I ejaculated prematurely. No pain.

- I can still get a pretty good-sized erection as long as I don't touch it. If I touch the skin, even only to rub it a couple of times, it gets the hourglass shape. I began to check my nightly erections and they look close to normal. The skin seems a little tight on the sides, but the shape is much better.

- Also, I'm not sexually active, but I do enjoy some good kissing with my gf. This also gets me aroused. Sometimes I sneak off to the bathroom to check things out down there. Looks just like my nightly erections.

Are there any other diseases similar to Peyronie's that are not. I'm praying I have something less complicated as I'm sure all of you have.

Thanks

P.S.> Going in to an emergency urologist appointment in 15 minutes. I hope I hear good news.

I may be Peyronies, it may be not. Myself when I was younger I had some kind of damages I had made to myself, but they heel alone.
Good that you are going to see an urologist, let us know what it was his opinion.
We will be able to give you some advice on how to proceed.

I was proposing you to be gentle with your penis for a while, let it heel

Thanks, James

The urologist examined me, but did not find any bumps are feel anything like scar tissue. She believes that I'm having an inflammatory reaction to something. She told me to take Ibuprofen 3x/daily and come back in a month.

Yes. I said "she."

Anywho, I'm both relieved and concerned. She gave me a very low dose Viagra sample. I think that I will wait to try it though. Like you said-- let the guy rest and heal.

Well, I think I'm going to trim the hedges. If I have any bending, it would be a downward bend right at the base and I'd like to make sure it doesn't change. I'll try to update this in a month.

Happy for you that this is the uro opinion.
Keep in touch if you have any changes or concerns.

Wish you heel fast. Don't forget, nothing extreme is not good for the little boy down there. ;D

getmyhealthback,
I'm not sure why your doctor gave you Viagra samples. I didn't read anywhere you were having trouble achieving erections. What I understand is that you are able to achieve erections, but you are concerned about the hourglassing that appears at times. I don't understand doctors who want to give a pill for everything.

UPDATE: Today I had a visit to the dermatologist to treat some warts. (No. Not THOSE kind of warts. The kind on my hands). I told him how the urologist thought that my condition was an inflammation of the skin and not the erectile tissue. He looked and said every doctor's two favorite words: "that's normal."

Anywho, I also had a scheduled appointment with another urologist today (the last appointment was a last minute emergency appointment). Both urologists felt around for plaques/scar tissue. Neither of them felt anything. The last part of this conversation was important:

ME: "I'm glad that it doesn't look like Peyronie's. For peace of mind, I'd like to do an ultrasound and start on some topical verapamil.

DOCTOR: "Topical verapamil won't work. It has to be injected into the plaques. Usually we wait 1 - 2 years to start treatment if it ends up being peyronie's"

ME: "From what I've read, there isn't really any particular treatment that is proven. What are the risks of using topical verapamil?"

DOCTOR: "None, really. I just don't think you have it."

ME: "Is it possible that the plaques just haven't hardened yet?"

DOCTOR: "Tell you what. We'll do the ultrasound. If anything suspicious comes up, we'll think about some treatments. But I'm not prescribing you a drug for something that I don't think you have."

ME: "That's better than sitting and waiting. Thank you."

@ James:

Thanks, man. I feel positive today. I know I'll probably hit some low spots in the future. For now, I'm just appreciating that I am in a non-sexual relationship. I'm just praying that, assuming she's the one, my proposal isn't something like: "[girl of my dreams], I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me, despite knowing that our marriage will include sexual frustrations right from the get-go?"

@ lwillis,

My sex drive has been depleting. Even though I'm not sexually active, my erections have been becoming weaker. This could be related to some other health issues I've been having. Possible a liver malfunction.

I requested "something to help me make sure it still works."

She also told me that I could take Ibuprofen... but if it's Peyronie's-- I've heard that Ibuprofen is NOT your friend.

It is important to do the ultrasound and to see if you really don't have Peyronies.
When you will make the ultrasound?

Regarding
Quotemy erections have been becoming weaker
it may be ED problems related or not to Peyronies.
You have to talk about that with your uro, maybe low dose daily Cialis may help.

That statement absolutely does not make sense. Any doctor who proactively treats Peyronies Disease would suggest doing the injections BEFORE the plaque calcifies. Waiting two years is too late.
