Good day to all, i have Peyronies for about 2 years and there is nothing else that i think about everyday, i am 47 years old and have a great spouse and still great sex after 8 years together.
Now everytime we have sex i can't stop thinking that my penis is crooked ,i feel some pain and my erection is not quite so hard as it was before.
My Dr. here in Montreal, (i went to 2 differents doctors) told me that there is nothing to do, take some vitamin E and if gets worse than i would have to do surgery.
Now reading here some posts i am going to try a feel thinks before thinking about surgery but i would love to Find another doctor with more to say about this disease.
Thank you for any contact you have in Canada and have a great day.

Your doctors are totally wrong and they don't understand nothing in Peyronies. Surgery is the last choice and not the first. We all encountered this kind of doctors.

I hope some Canadian members will jump in, in mean time you can check out the board "Urologists and Other Doctors" topic "Peyronies Doctors – Locations and forum opinion". Have some information there.

A starting treatment can be Pentox, L-Arginine, Ubiquinol (or CoQ10) and low dose Cialis.
In addition you may start VED to improve the blood flow to your penis.

James
Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.
Got amazing support on the forum

Dr Gerald Brock in London Ontario is one of the best peyronies doctors on the planet, theres a community involving him Dr Levine, Dr Lue and Dr Mulhall. Hop on the VIA rail to London his hospital is rate near the train station if itstoo far, second best in Canada is Dr Anthony Bella in Ottawa. I'm a patient of Dr Brock's and couldn't be more pleased.

Hi Martins
I am in Toronto area.

If you check back to my post on Nov. 2 , 2011 under
Urologists and other doctors - Canada , I have listed there the best qualified Peyronies Urologists in Canada , as given to me personnally by Dr. Anthony Bella in Ottawa. There is one in Montreal.

Montreal , Quebec: Dr. Serge Carriere , Jewish General Hospital 514 340 8222 #7558
This is Dr. Bella's recommendation.

I am seeing Dr. Grober in Toronto and had surgery by him in February this year. Many members in this area are seeing Dr. Grober. As mentioned by Trevorr , Dr. Brock in London also ranks at the top of any list.
If you need any other info in that regard, pls. send me a PM.
Best wishes to my hometown.

Hi Mike, thank you very much for your help and i will call the hospital tomorrow to try to get an appointment with Dr.Carriere and i will find out if i can use my health care from Quebec in Ontario to see Dr. Grober in Toronto. I would like to ask you about your surgery, how is everythink? How painful is the surgery? You had Peyronies as well? Thank you so much and it feels great to see that you are not alone with this disease. Thank you again and have a nice evening. Martins

Hi Martins
Yes I had / have Peyronies. You can read all about it if you go to the home page , "our histories". Mine is there as Mike 67. I have detailed everything from start to date.
The surgery was not painful as I opted for a full anaesthetic. They offer an epideral due to my coronary condition but I declined. Dr. Grober performed it. Read the details in my history.
Keep in touch. No - you are most definitely not alone and you have come to the right place here for support from many fellow sufferers who also have good information to share with you. Try to give more detail on your condition. It will help others to offer you pertinent suggestions .
Take care and let me know how you make out in Mtl.
