Hi,
I'm new to this community but I just wanted to share my experience, as I, too, have Peyronie's and am absolutely certain how I developed it. For years I have been using both minoxidyl and proscar as preventative treatment for hair loss. in the case of the proscar, which is a drug primarily used to treat prostate problems, there is a weaker version that is usually used
for hair loss prevention, but the name escapes me at the moment. Nevertheless, I found it cheaper to buy proscar and cut the tablets into 4 pieces, each one being roughly the equivalent of the hair loss treatment I am referring to, at a much more reasonable price. I began this 'treatment' when I was 25 and never had any problems. When I was about 50, my penis became slightly damaged during rough sex. As it turned out, I'd developed a mild case of Peyronie's. As I lived in the States at the time, I was diagnosed and treated by a US urologist who put me on colcochine (hope I'm spelling it correctly, but if not, I'm sure you all are familiar enough with the medicine to know which one I am referring to), potoba, and topical verapamil cream. My Peyronies, at the time, consisted of a slight bend and a small plaque lump on the upper side. After about 1/2 year of the treatment, my penis straightened, although the plaque remained. No other significant effects, and sex returned to normal. Over the next 8 years, I continued to use minoxodil regularly but proscar only sporadically. I have been living in Germany for the last 8 years, and Last year, after not using proscar for perhaps two or three years, I asked my doctor for a prescription. Doctors here are more reticent to provide drugs than in the States, and
although mine did end up writing me a prescription, she did so after warning me that I shouldn't take it. Unfotunately she did not tell me why. Within two days of taking it, my penis was not only bent (slight but definitely noticeable) but I had developed the dreaded hourglass deformity that I've read so much about here. The girth at the base has been visibly reduced and I have several dents on each side and the vein that normally runs along the right side has developed into a large knot.  I was not having sex at the time the deformity happened, and nothing else in my life had changed, other than the addition of proscar to my health regime. I wish I could remember the alternate name of this medicine, as it applies to hair loss treatment, but I'm sure someone on this forum will supply it. Bottom line: Please take my word on this - do not EVER take this medicine!!! Oh, did I mention size reduction. I've lost 1/2 inch to boot. I have been taking Neprinol, vit E,
D, copper, COQ10, and Acetyl L-Carnitine for about two months now, but see no improvement at all.
Would love to try topical verapamil again but it is not available in Germany. In fact, neither is Neprinol - I had a friend sneak it in (you cannot order medicine here, not even supplements, from the States - customs will seize it and you will be fined!)
I've read that penis extenders can help. I've also read that pumps can help. Then again, I have also read that both can HARM you and do NOT help. Anyone have any experience in this area?

I was given Finasteride before TUNA treatment for enlarged prostate. The doctor didn't worn me that it may cause ED and hair growth. I take it for a few months, I begin to grow new hear on my head and my body and heaving ED problems that I never had before.
I checked out by the Internet and find out that Finasteride can cause to ED. I stop taking it immediately, but the ED damage was done.
The Peyronie's I get six months later, I think it was the result of the TUNA, but maybe combination of both, Finasteride and TUNA.

Regarding VED and Traction Devices we have two boards that dealing with the subject. Some leading Peyronie's doctors are advising they usage. Myself using VED. Have to be cautious with both and stick to the instructions, not to overpump with the VED and not to overstretch with the Traction Device.
For the VED Old Man had developed a 26 week protocol.

I was adding Pentox and low dose Cialis to the supplements and vitamins you are taking, but don't expect fast results. Usually it takes long time to see improvements.

I am suggesting you to read the boards:
"Vacuum Erection Devices (VEDs) for Peyronie's Disease"
"Traction and Traction Devices for correcting Peyronies Disease"
Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.
Got amazing support on the forum

Just for your information, this is not true. I myself ordered Neprinol in austria as well as other supplements. If you order in United Kingdom there is NO problem because it is from inside of the EU. There is a site that is the general representative of Neprinol in the UK..
http://www.advanced-supplements.com/index.php?cont=products_list&cat=3&subcat=5
( But I must admit i took Neprinol for 3 months - 9 capsules a day, and had NO effect what so ever)

As to other supplements, A friend of mine also ordered in the US from germany. it works, but the company has to make a custom declaration.
If you order from big companies like Puritan Pride, they make the custom declaration on the parcel. You will NOT be fined. but you will have to pay custom duties (can cost up to 30%). If there is no custom declaration on the parcel, customs consider you wanted to fraud, and you will be fined as you stated. But this is only valid for parcels coming from outside the EU (US for example). For parcels inside the EU you do not need any declaration.

You will be fined though if you order generic medicine (even from them). This is not allowed within the EU. So generic cialis, you better not get caught.
