Hi to all,

My name is Hank. I live in Costa Rica after moving here from the U.S. several years ago... after I was 'blessed' :-[ with Peyronie's.

When I went to the Internet and found a picture of a Peyronie's penis that looked almost exactly like mine when 'erect', I showed the picture to my family doctor. He's an excellent, kind doctor. But his only response was, "Can you live with that?" Geez...I was already scared. But I didn't think that killing myself would be a great option.  :-\

Physically, I can get a semi-erection that my now ex-wife and I were able to make work OK. Now that I'm single and would need to use a condom for intercourse, I'm can't get erect enough to use a condom. I did try a vacuum device about a year ago. Even with the widest tube that was available, my penis was bent so much that it wouldn't go inside the vacuum tube. Viagra and similar medications do nothing to help. I've never had any pain in my penis from Peyronie's.

Emotionally, it's been very difficult. That's how I ended up at this website tonight. It's been more than four years since I had an intimate relationship (with my ex-wife) with a woman, and I so much miss being able to hold and be affectionate with someone. While I'm happy in many ways, I feel like a big part of my life is missing.

Attracting a woman has a lot to do with confidence. I'm gregarious, energetic, and confident... in every part of my life except creating a relationship with a woman. In my would-be romantic life, I have zero confidence. I wonder how the heck I can feel confident asking out a woman when I know that if we hit it off well... it will inevitably lead to my having to tell her I can't have intercourse.

Overall, I'm getting so tired of the lack of an affectionate relationship and so frustrated with my total lack of confidence in dealing with women I'm attracted to.

I appreciate this forum and hope to get help of some type. Feel free to email me.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum, I know you was preferring not to be here same as me, but this "blessing" bringing us here all together.

From your explanation I understand that you have Peyronie's and also ED and you tried out Viagra with no results.
I am proposing you to read the forum, especially the treatment boards to be more familiar with Peyronie's and to see what other people had to say about different treatments.
In my opinion you should also see a good urologist to have a picture of the severity of your Peyronie's.

In mean time, I would propose you to begin Pentox with low dose Cialis and start with VED. Be carefull with the VED not to overpump, read the related topics on the forum. VED is helping to keep the penis healthy.

Thanks for your warm welcome and initial recommendations. I'll definitely follow up on them.

I have tried VED but my penis curves so much that I couldn't make it fit even the widest tube. Another member of this forum has already emailed me with excellent suggestions on how to use a VED effectively.

It's encouraging to be among a group of people who understand Peyronies from their own experience (unfortunately).
