Hey folks.

New member here.

Age? I'm 51.
What did your medical doctor conclude? A diagnosis of Peyronie's Disease.
How long have you had symptoms? Since about February or March of this year (2025).
What are your symptoms?
Started with a little pain during intercourse or masturbation around February, by May I was definitely noticing a curve in my penis. Finally got in to see a urologist in August of 2025, by which time the curve was around 30º or so, focused just behind the glans.
What treatments have you tried and what were the results? The urologist recommended the RestoreX, which I have tried but been extremely frustrated with. I just can't seem to get the tape adjusted right and either have slippage or pulling skin. As soon as I tape up the glans, I lose track of where the rim is to get it placed correctly in the clamp. I tried on and off for about a week and gave up. Picked it up again today to give it another shot, but just really very frustrated with the device. I don't know that it's going to work for me, which sucks as this thing cost a small fortune.
Do you have insurance or means to get medical treatment?
Best I can tell my insurance doesn't cover the RestoreX.
Where are you in dealing with the psychological aspects of Peyronies Disease?
Not well at all. Been very depressed, feeling a bit like giving up. Hard to feel like much of a man when your parts don't work the way they are supposed to...
Are you in a relationship?
Yes, but I don't know for how much longer. I've tried discussing this with my partner, but she's somewhat dismissive and I can feel her pulling away from me. We've had no intimacy, much less intercourse, since around April or May.

I have an appointment with a urological surgeon who specializes in Peyronie's scheduled for March of next year. That seems like an eternity from now. I was hoping I'd at least be able to say I'd had good luck with traction before then, but I can't even get the RestoreX working for me.

I haven't tried any over the counter supplements and wouldn't even know where to begin there. The doctor I saw last month did not recommend any supplements and also did not prescribe any ED medication like Cialis or Viagra.

Signing off, frustrated and worried I don't know how to get through this.

I share your frustration with Restorex. I'm still not convinced of how well it actually works without Xiaflex but if you do want to try again, I would definitely apply the tape to the actual clamp itself, instead of messing about trying to wrap the head of your penis perfectly every time. It's far, far easier.

As you have probably read, make-up pads help with comfort also.

I've illustrated this in the photos below:

I had a 30 degree left curve
I managed to solve it with one serie of Xiaflex injections with Dr Trost.

I will post the details of my story and Xiaflex experience as an international patient soon.

You should not give up.
Restorex is a bit unnerving at first but like many things in life after you familiarize with it gets easy.
I put some taping on both the restored and around my penis head. No issues, pain or slippage at all.

Are u based in the US?
