Hey, Just found this site; I was looking for a support group and here it is.  I just got diagnosed.  I've known something was wrong for about a year or so; it just started out as a dent, and I thought it was from masturbating.  I really didn't realize how much it had progressed 'til my partner pointed it out (the bend) and said it was gross.  I really didn't start noticing how much it was getting bent until one day as I woke up with my morning hard on and I looked under the  covers 'cuz something wasn't right.  I was horrified; how could I missed THAT.  Still didn't do anything, any time I saw it, it just made me sick and ashamed... Went to my doc and found out there was a name for it, he sent me to a urologist (who is a surgeon) and he said he needed to send me to some other surgeon... Needless to say, I'm completely freaked.  Maybe I'm just over sensitive, but when I found this site, I have been looking at quite a few posts... My partner says "Why don't you watch a movie or something, you're getting obsessed".  Damned straight (not a pun) I'm getting obsessed.  I haven't talked to anybody about it, it makes me sick to have anybody know about it, I don't even know how to bring it up.  My self esteem is really taking a beating and I'm really getting depressed. Sorry for the negativity on my 1st post.  How do you cope with this?  Marcus

Marcus,

I would guess that to a man here at this site, we all felt the same way you are feeling right now.  I have had Peyronies for a 3 1/2 years now and I still obsess over it.  All I can tell you is the sooner you get on the supplements and a VED or traction, the better.  It has helped me go from a 45 to a 35 degree bend and I don't suffer any pain anymore.

You have to understand there is no cure, but there is a lot of things you can do to help yourself.

Read the topics carefully and with attention to enrich you knowledge. You will find what is (in your opinion) the best for you.
One thing for shore, get on VED as soon as possible.
