Is there any hope out there for those of us suffering from diffuse pain and inflammation and no detectable signs of plaque although some deformity might be present. It's like a kind of Peyronie's disease that refuses to declare itself.......if a plaque is present at least it can be manipulated , targeted , operated on but what to do if you suffer from local and diffuse inflammation with no palpable plaque.........i'm going on 10 years of this now in March 2012....it's as if i've been cuaght up in the inflammatory phase for 10 years.

I really think the best hope in this situation is to target inflammation directly.  And remember that palpable plaque may NOT be fibrosis.  I believe, in fact, that palpable plaque is NOT fibrosis, but rather only dense swelling of tissues.  Actual fibrosis, I believe, is usually NOT palpable and can only be visualized on ultrasound.  Thus ONLY that which can be visualized on ultrasound can be operated on.  What you "feel" is meaningless.  It is like trying to remove the lump that results from a severe bruise.  If what I believe is true, it becomes a very important distinction because it really changes the way one approaches treatments.  - George

George,

Can you elaborate on what you mean by it changes the way one approaches treatment? I ask because I'm 3 years in and feel like I'm losing functionality quickly despite treatment early and often. My scar tissue is at the glans on both sides(top and bottom;sides too when inflamed)and I feel like the more I treat the issue with pentox and cialis, the worse my inflammation is when the medication wears off.

What I mean is that it makes it REALLY important to target inflammation with every tool possible from the earliest possible time.  In your case you are doing that with pentox and cialis, but you need to stick with it long enough for it to have a lasting effect AND you need to be looking for other ways to stop this inflammation.  In my case, in terms of inflammation and resulting palpable plaque, I have been symptom free for many months now, even though I have stopped taking pentox for close to six months.  In other words I stopped taking pentox WITHOUT a recurrence of symptoms.  But I have taken all sorts of dietary and anti-glucose steps in order to try to get off of this merry-go-round and it is finally showing encouraging signs of success.  Nevertheless, I continue to keep pentox on hand in case I ever need it.  The sooner you stop the inflammation, the sooner you stop the progression of damage and scarring.  Thats the bottom line.  - George

Can the dietary and anti-glucose steps, together with Pentox and Cialis reverse the disease?
If I have calcified plaques, they will disappear?
This what you mean in symtoms free?

James,  What I mean is that these steps can at least stop the progression of the disease.  I really hesitate to use the word "reverse" because that gets interpreted as meaning that all trace of tissue damage is gone.  I am not sure that is possible.  But certainly in the early stages of the disease when there is little actual tissue damage and most of the "plaques" are actually swelling related to inflammation, yes, I believe complete reversal is possible.  When it comes to calcified scar tissue, Pentox alone has been proven to be capable of eliminating these.  I consider myself at this point to be symptom free because I have neither pain nor plaques that can be felt with an examination.  That doesn't mean I don't have a curve.  I have some degree of upward curve that I did not have before, but the sideways curve is completely gone.  And that doesn't mean that I don't have scar tissue that would appear on an ultrasound exam.  But I don't have any scar tissue that can be felt with a physical exam.  I hope this explanation helps?  - George

Thanks for the explanation. Is very clear and also encouraging.
Just one more question:
How long time you used Pentox and how many per day to get to this result?
