I have had Peyronies Disease since October 2009 and have been using the VED vacuum device since September 2010 till now so far with no results whatsover. I have been told traction devices may help the curvature which is 45 degree upwards to my stomach when erect. I have lost size and girth since the start of the Peyronies Disease and VED so far week 21 into the protocol for the VED it has done nothing. I have seen Male Edge and Andro Penis. Has anyone any results from either of these or advice for me? Thanks

GS

I think the reality of both the VED and traction is that it can and usually is, a long and drawn out process.  I've been using a VED for over a year now and my results have not been spectacular, but I have decreased my curvature around 10 degrees.  I started at about 45 degrees and now I'm 35 degrees.

The whole key to therapy for Peyronies Disease is PATIENCE.

One other thing you have to remember;if you started at 45 degrees and you are still 45 degrees, you have not failed to see results, you did NOT get any worse.  It's when you start at 45 degrees and end up at 90 degrees; that's a failed therapy.

This is all just my opinion, but I think it's a positive way to look at the situation.  Good luck and don't give up.

You have summed it up quite well. I know my peyronies state before I began VED and I know may state before I began Traction. But I have no way of knowing if VED or Traction has had any impact on the disease. I do know though, that when I discontinue VED or Traction briefly, there is a regression in some of the improvement.

I agree about not letting your guard down.  Stay with the VED religiously.

I did very well with the first 26 weeks where I regained most of my length and improved somewhat with the indention at the base of the shaft.  I took a break and was going to resume the therapy; however, I lost my timing and interest because of my traveling. Since I wasn't doing the VED therapy regularly, I realized I was going back to where I started!  So now I am trying to get back on track.

Recently, my wife mentioned that she did not "feel" the "crook" that she had felt before. Apparently, I am doing something right by staying with the program..  It is definitely worth the time and effort.

All the traction devices are pretty much the same.  Some have different head attatchments than others, but all have the same concept.  I really don't think any has a distinct advantage over the others.  If you read the traction section on here, you will see quite a few success stories on it.

Just remember, like the ved, if it works it won't be a quick fix.  I think most people take at least 3 months or so to see anything.  You also have to be dedicated to it.  Wearing it 3-4 hours a day is the minimum, and those who get the best results wear it upwards of 6 hours a day, and don't skip days.

Based on your symptoms though, I'd say you'd have a good chance of it working.  From what I've read, it works the best for distinct bends, bends not near the head, and those with  a smaller number of plaques.  You may want to experiment with it and even use both the ved and traction if it's comfortable for you.

I think most are very similiar. However, the thread starter now has a male edge, and it look look quite unusual. It has rods that you move around. Also, there are other types of traction devices that he informed me of, like the phallosan. The only type of vacuum based traction I have experience of is the VACads. It certainly doesn't fall off, but it can't be worn for more than a couple of hours at a time really. Well not for me anyway.

Male edge is junk. I broke two of them. One was purchased by me, the other was a display model that they gave me ffg or parts

If its breaking, it probably isn't the device you should be using. I would reccomending speaking with your doctor about the best traction device to use. Many people on here have used penimaster pro or restorex, among others, which you can find on the forum. They are high quality and made well by reputable companies. I don't think a local sex shop is going to be your best bet on getting quality traction devices. If used improperly, you can really hurt yourself with these.
