Compressing after BIMIX

I have an ultrasound on Wednesday, and he's going to induce erection with BIMIX.

I know I'm supposed to compress the injection site for 5 minutes in order to reduce the chance of having the BIMIX injection contribute to my peyronie's.

So what's that mean exactly? I just press my fingers against the spot where the needle went in and press for 5 minutes?

Will I have a chance to do this between the time when the injection happens and when the doctor does the ultrasound? What If I'm still compressing and the doctor is ready to do the ultrasound?

My doctor is not very patient/understanding and I don't feel very comfortable communicating with him. If I say that I read on an internet forum that I'm supposed to compress the injection site, I feel like he won't take me seriously. He already doesn't believe that there's any history of BIMIX causing plaque. So I guess I'm worried that he won't let me compress the plaque.

I'd like to know what to expect.
Thanks.

Unless you get instantaneously erect he will be leaving the room and coming back when you have a useable boner. You should have time to compress. Also, I don't know how old you are and what your erectile function is like, but just fyi, I would bring some sudafed with me on the off chance you get a priapism. It is rare, but it does happen. The epinephrine will kill your boner. So does adrenaline. I am telling you this because I had an erection for like 2 hours and it would not go away. I had to stand there and lightly jog in place and try to get as angry as possible before it finally subsided. Little chance this will happen to you, but be prepared.

Thanks for the reply.

My uro said that he'd give me another injection to make the erection go away. So I think I don't have to worry about priapism. I have no idea what the injection is though. I wonder if I need to compress this second injection site as well?

Stock up on anti-inflammatories. Take them before and after until injection is healed. Iodine topical could help too.
And, yes, get a new doc at some point.
