hey im 22 now and ive had scar tissue for about 24 months now and im pretty sure im in the last stage because the scar tissue has not grown for 3-4 months now. i was too scared to go to the docs so i waited until a year ago when i couldnt penetrate (i counted 7 different girls that i failed to penetrate, now i have 7 girls on a re-to do list ). i finally got the top urologist in calgary to check me out at the beginning of june and he gave me topical verapamil 8% to apply twice daily. ive also been taking vitamin c and e and fish oil. he told methat the scar tissue should be gone in 6-12 months. since then my scar tissue has shrinked and my erections have been slowly getting better. but i still have the scar tissue and my erections are still not hard enought to penetrate. does anyone know anything i can take or do to heal quickly and if i even will heal soon or what not?

thanks,

soroxas

soroxas,

Are you not able to penetrate because your erection is more curved now, or are you not able to penetrate because your erection is too soft?

You should take a look at the results of a lot of guys using the VED for both ED and Peyronies Disease symptoms. For ED, it will give you on the hardest erections you ever had! You just have to be careful not to use too much vacuum pressure when using a VED for either ED of Peyronies Disease.

Suggest that you read up on the board for VEDs on the home page of the main forum.

Hey I can't penetrate because it dosnt get hard enough.

You could have multiple issues going on. Peyronies and ED are not necessarily related.

I have visited a urologist several times and he told me I had scar tissue formed. It has shrunk and has become less noticable since applying the cream. Yeah I just can't get a hard enough erection too penetrate and I did take a testosterone test but that wasn't the case according to the doc. And what type of ved would u recommend old man

The weapon of choice for our Peyronies Disease therapy has been the Vitality OTC three cylinder VED that was available from a company called Fitzz. Unfortunately, the FDA made the manufacturer of those VEDs take them off the market since FDA said there were no clinical trials performed to get certification approval for use of VEDs for Peyronies Disease. They are approved for ED for some reason, but not for Peyronies Disease.

There is a site where a one cylinder Vitality OTC VED can be purchased at a price below $100.00. However, the two extra cylinders can no longer be obtained to make the VED a three cylinder model that is needed to follow the 26 week Peyronies Disease protocol posted in the VED board on the main forum.

I will research the URL link for the source of the one cylinder Vitality OTC VED and post it later. Hope that we can be able to get the three cylinder models later.

Edit: To locate the Vitality OTC VED on the above link do this: when the home page comes up, look for the men's health link in the left margin and click on it. This will bring up another page where the VEDs are listed.

It should be available to you guys. However, if not, then try this one:  www.fitzz.com

That link still have the one cylinder Vitality OTC available, just can't get the two extra cylinders from them like before they were cut off from buying them from their source.

Old Man

Edit PS: Try this link. It does not state the device is not available to Canadians.

Hey thanks again old man. So will the ved give me enough penetration to have intercourse? Or are the chances slim. And do u know if I'm on the road to recovery or not with the scar tissue. Will the verapamil work

In my case the VED with the right constriction will give you an erection good enough for penetration and sex.

Constriction rings are a personal fit, what works for me might not work for you. I found that Osborn has the best rings. I had to use the very tight "D" ring. It will take a little trial and error to find which works best for you.

The single cylinder VED exercise and how I used it for sex is now posted in the top section of the VED forum. Any questions just let me know.

Well hopefully the ved works fast. I don't know how u guys can take having Peyronies Disease for so long. I've been praying everyday that mine will go away and everything will go back to normal and I can go try and get my girl back. Props to all u guys who have it. I respect all of u

I'm sorry guys but I just can't take it anymore. Why me and why u guys. We don't deserve this. Why can't this happen to rapists and murderers.all I ever want is my girl back and I can't have her because of this. I'm willing to do anything to get my penis working again. So if someone can help me I'm willing to try anything.

Hey Man! Listen to what I have to say to you at this time! My first bout with Peyronies Disease hit when I was 24 years old - in less than a month I will by 81. During the past 56 plus years I have had several bouts of Peyronies Disease coming and going over the years. I am now happily married for over 47 years with three kids and eight grand kids. With help of many in the past, I overcame those with good results. The VED therapy was the final one that worked to get me into an arrested state of Peyronies Disease now. I can function sexually with the help of the VED to get erections and have sex any time I want to when the wife is able.

You can do this, just don't give up = keep on keeping on. You said your have prayed about this, so you must know that there is help through that, you just have to believe and that something good will happen for you.

You must try any and everything to help. Lean on what you are being told by "us old geezers" who had this mess for many years. You just have to find something or anything that will give you hope for getting some relief.

My suggestion is that if you have not getten good advice from your present uro, that you find a second one qualified to help with peyronies and/or erectile dysfunction if you have that problem too. Just don't give up at this stage of the game, life has just started for you so make the most of it.

Let us all know if there is anything we can do to help you through this. Remember that you can do this!!!!

I second what Old Man says. I am a younger guy (31) with this but I am happily married with a baby on the way. This disease sucks and it will break you down but you have to use the tools available to you and find the strength within yourself to build yourself back up. Find a good urologist, get on pentox, address any erectile issues you have with viagra or cialis and check out the VED protocols. Start exercising and take better care of your overall health. This is not the end of the road.

Keep fighting,

Skjald

soroxas

hey guys thanks for the help. i just noticed another scar tissue located at the base of my pernis on the same side of my larger scar tissue. could this be why i cant get a hard enough erection and if so will a ved still give me enough to penetrate. and when i do recieve my ved how long will it take to work
thnaks,

elsagirl

Old Man

soroxas:

The VED can and will give one a real good erection if used properly and with just the right amount of vacuum pressure. You would need to practice using the VED for erections to determine the proper tension ring to hold the erection up long enough for sex. Remember that if you do use the retainer rings that they should be removed after having them installed for no longer than 30 minutes.

You will need to use the VED therapy protocol long enough to see if it would help with the scar tissue, plaque if any as well as any curves/bends or other Peyronies Disease symptoms. Recovery time for VED therapy varies very much between individuals, so there is really no way a time could be predicted. One just have to use the therapy to determine the resulting out come. In my own case, it took the greater part of a year to see good final results.

hey guys i was just researching and i came across a venous leak. its scary because it sounds like i could possibly have one and thats why i cant get a full erection?? could this be why and can someone tell me what the symptoms of one are
thnaks,

elsagirl

Old Man

soroxaas:

The classic symptoms of venous leakage is the inability to hold up an erection long enough to complete a sexual encounter. There are many factors that go into the causes and apparently there are no known cures for venous leakage. Basically, what happens is that the little "stopper valves" (for want of a better word) in the veins fail to close tight enough under sexual stimulation to hold up the erection.

I first started having a bout with venous leakage at the age of 55. At that time, restrictor rings were given to me by my uro and they worked well for many years. After prostate surgery in 1995, the venous leakage precluded my from having any natural erection. This coupled with impotence brought on by the non nerve sparing prostate surgery made for a difficult time in our marriage.

So, my uro prescribed the old one cylinder Osbon Classic VED which worked somewhat well, but I replaced it with the one cylinder Osbon Erecaid Esteem all in one piece when mated together (cylinder and pump). The Esteem worked great for my ED and Peyronies Disease symptoms as well.

So, you must get a good diagnoses from a qualified uro to make definitely sure that you do indeed have venous leakage. There are sonic tests that can be done to firm up any diagnosis for the problem.

soroxas

Thanks. Umm so venous leakage would be u get an erection but then it loses erection after a short period of time. Cause what my problem is I can't get a hard enough erection in the first place. It still goes up just not strongly. In fact the right side of my penis is perfectly fine even its hardness. Just the lower left is where my erection is weak. And my ved should be in within the next couple of days
thnaks,

elsagirl

Old Man

soroxas:

You are partly right about the losing erection part. I probably should have said that one could get an erection and then it leaks down as well as the inability to achieve an erection at all. Due to the venous leakage, sometimes even getting an erection can not be achieved. It all works together to prevent one from achieving and keeping an erection long enough to complete sexual intercourse. Diabetics are especially prone to having venous leakage problems.

With peyronies and venous leakage the other thing guys need to consider is that venous leakage could be a sign of some heart problems.

After the diagnosis of venous leakage within a couple of years I had to have heart stents.

If you get a venous leakage diagnosis I would also consult a good heart doctor.

Jackp

Old Man

JackP:

Yep, you are right about the heart problems. I had venous leakage start at the age of 55, but my uro and GP did not seem to think it was related to my heart as everything checked OK with a stress test.

However, in February 2004 I had three stents placed in three blocked arteries which failed. In September 2004, had three bypasses put in, so now I have them plus the stents. I am seeing my cardiologist on Friday, September 3, 2010 since I am experiencing some shortness of breath and signs of weakness when working and sweat a lot too. This checkup is just to be on the safe side. (Could be related to being almost 81, huh?)

Bottom line, venous leakage has many factors to it, so each case is probably different from any other.

By Peyronie's disease the penis is abnormally bent or twisted because of fibroid tissue development. Here are causes, symptoms and treatment options explained.

Hey Soroxas- Listen to Old Man. He's right on the following fronts: 1.Don't give up. You said you prayed, then have faith and believe. At the expense of using religious parlance the Bible speaks of a women with an issue of blood that suffered many things from many physicians, and was desperate to do what ever it takes to get healed. That is kinda like us. Desperate times require desperate measures and most of the time we with this disease will do anything we hear about to get better. Do the research and try, experiment and land on a plan that works for you. Again it will take endurance, and discipline. You have the vitality of youth on your side. Your real character and man hood will be revealed in this furnace of adversity. 2. In the mean time I also suggest the Osborn Erectaid Esteem. I have been using it for 3 years since I lost the ability to get erections after prostate cancer. My leak requires me to use two of the tightest rings. That enables us to to have the sex we want and stay hard enough, long enough. You have to fiddle around with it, though and figure it out. Like Old Man says, it should not stay on more then 20 to 30 minutes. I load 3 rings on the cylinder. The two tight ones on the bottom and a soft ring on top. I put the soft ring on first for foreplay, not hard enough for penetration, but with enough constriction to keep me from leaking piss! Yeah I battle with incontinence while aroused(and other times). When ready to penetrate I pull the soft one off, put the tight ones on and go to town. Since I got Peyronies, I follow the same procedure, just find the positions that work. Be tenacious, brother and you find your way. Regards Inkhorn
