I have tried everything. I even wrapped my head in silicon tape. It slips out every time.

And it hurts like crazy. You have to mash your head flat. I just don't see how it is possible to "bury the white lines" without pulling your dick off. Either that or everyone else's dick is far longer than mine and made out of nearly inflexible industrial rubber hose. I don't get it. This thing is a worhless piece of crap.

Well... Your attitude is not the best I tell you that. Since when do you have a restorex?

samsung

You know what? You're right. But I am super frustrated. I have had it for 2 days now and I can't get it to work and it makes my dick hurt for many many hours after I use it. I don't mean to trash something others might find useful, but so far it is a piece of crap to me.

samsung

I don't have to take your insults dude. I don't see what you're after here other than to make me feel bad. I am looking for help. I want to know how to make my dick head not slip out of this goddamn thing and you only want to aggravate me by being cryptic and annoying. I will make you a deal. If I post my age, you PM me your address.

Samsung,

You really need to calm down and let the members of this forum help. No one has insulted you. You were simply asked your age. We ask information so that we  can guide you in the best way possible.

O.K. I apologize then. I assume he was asking to point out my immaturity. What he may not know is I am extremely mentally ill and I have protracted withdrawal from benzodiazepines. Which means basically I am nuts. Now add peyronie's to this mix. And then add to that all the things that might help, like Pentox or carnitine make me extremely anxious. And then add that I can't use a traction device properly and it makes my goddamn head explode. I will try my best not to post here very often. I realize I am not normal. And I realize you all are just trying to help each other.

Pain for hours after does not sound good. Inflammation + physical stress can lead to more inflammation, you don't want that. I saw the instruction videos on stretching devices and sounds like how you are describing it, so decided not to go that route. For me very little manual traction results in pain also...

Have you tried to just leaving your penis alone for, lets say, a month? No masturbation or anything physical. I believe you need to get your inflammation under control first. Pain does not let you think straight.

Also, in your daily life, any other triggers that make it hurt more than other times? Such as food, heat, cold or physical activity?

Samsung,

Posting here is how we help each other. Make your posts tell us what you need help with, that is why this forum exists. You are not the only member with this kind of situation, the more you post the more you learn, the more we all learn. Were not here to judge you, just to offer what we know to help you.

Try explaining to us step by step what you are doing when using Restorex, maybe you are missing a step or there is a technique that another member has used that was experiencing the same problem you are having.

JohnnyDoe... This is madness.

50 people say do traction.

50 people say don't do it.

How can you fight a disease if you don't know what to do because you are fed equal amounts of opinions on every single topic? Total insanity.

I know man, I am in the same boat as you are. The problem is that you do not get a good picture of what their symptoms were and in which stage of the disease they were when they tried something. But in the end you need to do what works best for you. You need to use your own logic, that is why I asked what makes it hurt more for you.

I just know for me that if something hurts and I aggravate it, it gets worse. Complete abstinence seems to work better for now (something other people have mentioned too). Combined with trying to live healthy in general. When the pain is down you can think more clearly and make better decisions.

In post 31 of his, on June 10, he states that he is 44 years old.
5 Rounds of Xiaflex. Good results.

I had a lot of trouble with the restorex. I opted for hand traction and pumping. Restorex is collecting dust. Wish I could sell it off.

Christopher1

I purchased the PeniMaster Pro. I prefer hand traction. Just do what works best. Traction works.
Snake Diet + 5-day fasts + pentox + NeoV's stretching routine + Mito Red Light. Curvature 99% gone.

I also used Todd Capistrant's "Fascial Distortion Model" to help my curvature. Start slowly.

@samsung, Are you wrapping with the 3m tape at least 3 times around? If so try going around another 2 times to create more comfort for the clamping and to help it not slip out by creating more bulk for the clamp to grab onto. Wrap the tape tight but not so tight that it cuts off your circulation. If your peyronie's lump is where you are clamping, then move the clamp further away from the lump back towards the base of the penis more as clamping close the the peyronie's lump will irritate the lump more. Also having the clamp back away from the glans more will help it to not slip out.
Age, 40's.

Had peyronie's for more than 10 years. Developed glans lump, then had poor erections and soft glans.

Made a lot of progress over the years with diet and avoidance of sugar and high carbs. Still have the lump but it's much smaller now.

skunkworks

What's the point of the tape? Does it create more friction with the surface of the restorex clamp? If not, it's the wrong tape.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

Bent Ding Dong

It's like a bandage tape that sticks to itself and your skin and it provides comfort from the clamp. I've tried without and it hurts and I've tried other wraps around the penis and they slip out. The 3m Coban tape works best I have found with comfort and no slippage.

Studies show traction helps, that is worth more than random forum opinion.

Re Restorex, I can't give you a lot of info there as the device is so new. I know a lot more about traditional traction devices.

When you say your dick hurts for hours afterwards, is that a pain at the clamp site or more general pain in your penis?

General pain in my penis. Even if I do manual traction, it hurts to the point I have to take Celebrex and even that doesn't stop the pain. Especially right where the plaque is located. I feel like new damage is being caused every second of the day because if there is pain, damage must be occurring.

I feel totally helpless because I can't take any of the supplements so far, except for cialis and arginine. They all cause really bad mental/nervous stuff.

And the traction causes pain. So wtf am I supposed to do?

Have you tried a prolonged fast?

No. I have not tried a prolonged fast. How long exactly? And why would that get rid of a bend? I think you and NeoV healed from fasts, etc. because you are among that small percentage of spontaneous healers. Although I don't know your stories so I could be wrong there.

I wish there was an instruction video of hand traction with an actual (small) pecker like mine now is. I don't understand how you can stretch it to therapeutic lengths downward, etc.

Feel free to ask if unsure of anything regarding manual traction

samsung

Yeah, I watched them. But my dick is the size of an atom so how do I stretch it down between my legs, etc.? Wish I could pay someone else to do it. I can stretch it straight out, or toward my leg, but don't see how to do downward without a huge song. If you are fat like me you will know what I'm talking about.

Agree with bent ding dong.... if possible clamp down further down on the penis below the glans will help with slippage.

While I think its possible that someone with a really small penis might have some issues using RestoreX, I think your attitude and title of this post are unproductive.

Just take one look at someone with disk ear rings and then tell me that stretching does not effect tissue.  I am a success case for restorex as are many others.  I am still using it after more than a year and experience no pain...however it took me a few weeks to get it right.  You need to relax and understand that once you figure this out, it will be helpful and could resolve your issues.

First off, Restore X has great customer support, have you reached out to them before coming here and throwing your tantrum?
Secondly, I posted what was once a sticky here with my tips on how to find success...and many people found it to be helpful.  I suggest you find that post and read it.

I personally think you are pinching skin and that causes pain and lingering pain.  Once you wrap, then you need to pull from the tip of your penis to make sure there are not folds of skin under the wrap...or you will find

Try to think positively and it will have a big impact on your life

Pfract,  was the big promoter of Restorex , until he actually tried the thing, is having problems. Turns out his dick is too thick for it to work properly
I dont think restorex is garbage. I just dont think any one treatment works for everyone. From reading this forum , that is a fact

I am glad we can all count on Bubba dawg for factual information and telling things how they really are. For anybody wondering, I haven't confirmed yet if the device works or not and as everybody can see customer support got back to me and they said I do have the penile size to use the device. A picture of the girth thickness/clamp question was included as well.

issues with stretching penis to fit in restorex device. Will this work? - Peyronies Society Forums

Lester7

Definitely wrap it. I've been using restorex for 2 months. No improvement in curvature yet. First week or so all you're doing is just kind of getting used to it. Don't overdo it, but work up gradually for sure. Take two weeks of getting used to it if you need to. It'll get easier. Just stick with it. Good luck!

Restorex has an adjustment for thickness of glans.
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.

Mindseye

It works perfect for me.. It took awhile to get the hang of it but I can get in and out of it in seconds.. It is fully adjustable for average to large penis but states right on it may not work for small. You have to wrap a little 6" piece of gauze 1st then a non painful adhesive tape over gauze.. Put the head past lip on clamp and click clamp as tight as you can without pain.. Then start slow and work your way up don't even try the 90 degree bend till you got the device down pat.. Good luck

FlatteningTheCurve

Hey,

Not sure if you have already sold your device but something that helped me is a soap that someone else wrote about on the forum a while back - Heno de Pravia. It's some sort of natural soap that makes the skin a bit sticky after use. Basically, using the soap before makes the glans slip out way less for me, less skin irritation too.

Not sure if you want to give it a go, but it would be a very cheap thing to try before abandoning the whole Restorex idea.
Early 30s, diagnosed with Peyronies in 2017 after trauma during sex. ca 15 degrees upward curvature. Restorex, VED, 5mg Cialis, Pentox, L-arginine, Coq10, Propolis, Vitamin E. Underwent 12 rounds of Verapamil injections 2021-22

Dent-n-curve

I know this is discussed elsewhere, but for redundancy's sake, and so that anyone finding their way to these posts with equal frustration can easily find it....  Two words.

Makeup pads.

The ones with the little straps across the back fit *perfectly* on the clamps of the Restorex and they help quite a lot with both comfort and grip.  You'll need to expand the clamp jaws width to accommodate the extra thickness, but between using these and getting the hang of clamping only the glans, the Restorex begins to be more usable and useful.
Early 50s, Peyronie began mid 2022 as pain, dent near base, curve toward dent, then became waisting/hinging into upward curve. Currently on Pentox/Cialis/Arginine, + Restorex.  Seeing Dr. Carrion, Xiaflex round 1 completed on 7/12/23
