Restorex - is it worth it ? Penimaster Pro or ESL40 other options

Fix This

Hi all

I'm currently attacking my peyronies with manual traction amongst other things. I may be experiencing some very slight improvement, but this being Peyronie's this 'improvement' is not that definite and seems to vary daily.

I'd like to add a traction device to my treatment plan. I like the fact that the apparently restorex only needs to be worn for half an hour to an hour a day. Much more practical and achievable than 7-8 hours. It is of course, much more expensive than all other devices. But if it works I'm more than happy to pay $500 i to help get my old penis back!

I can't see much difference in the physical makeup of the restorex to be honest. Apart from the ability to bend the penis away from the scar tissue and curve ( perhaps this is the key)

I was considering the penimaster pro and would still consider this ( less then half the price of the restorex ) . And have just come across the very cheap esl40 on the forum , and am now considering that too. ( so cheap it could be maybe be used in conjunction or at night ?)    So any experiences and/ or improvements with these two also would also be appreciated

Many thanks all

Keep up the good fight!

Hi Fix this. I have used Size Genetics and RestoreX and I got a lot more results from RestoreX. The tension in RestoreX is much stronger and I think the opposite bend feature is where it does more for peyronie's without a doubt. You can also adjust it while still clamped. Yep it's damn expensive but there are studies to that say it works for peyronies. It worked good for me especially with increasing flaccid length. Stretched penile length is longer too, not by much but any length gains are worth it.

You might get some results with cheaper traction devices but you might need to wear them for 7 or more hours a day and for up to a year which can become tedious very quickly especially when you have to readjust and take it off many times a day to allow blood flow to come back. Not worth it in my opinion.
Age, 40's.

Had peyronie's for more than 10 years. Developed glans lump, then had poor erections and soft glans.

Made a lot of progress over the years with diet and avoidance of sugar and high carbs. Still have the lump but it's much smaller now.

Restorex is purported to also require less time due to the increased tension.  If price is no option I'd consider wearing the PMP or ESL40 during the day w a strap and then add restorex for 30mins in the evening at home as cannot wear out).  Als, consider adding low fosniggtly PDE5i, pentox and and maybe even VED  if you want to tackle it on all fronts.   Be sure to read the survival guide here: Peyronies Survival Guide - Information for New Members - Peyronies Society Forums

Hi Bent Ding Dong, thanks for the reply

I think I will be getting a restorex. That kind of positive feedback is very useful and making me thibnk this is the way to go next. What kind of curvature improvement have you had using it? Are you treating with other methods at the same time? Has this helped with any ED and improved erect length and hourglassing too?

Many thanks

Hey fix this. Have you seen this thread

10 months along with RestoreX - Peyronies Society Forums

Hi pfract

Yes that's pretty good work isn't it? Thanks for linking that. I wonder whether he reached a plateau and it just stopped improving? Or whether he eased off. Because it seemed to get better and better , and then after about a year get slightly worse I think. Looked like a big improvement anyway, although some slightly wider angle shots would have helped to make the overall picture and shape a bit clearer.

I'm quite set on getting one of these anyway

Thanks again

Yes , the dercreased amount of time wearing is one of the main reasons I would go for this one. 1 hour a day rather than the 8 recomended for most others means 7 hours a week instead of 56 hours a week with the others! A difference of 49 hours a week for apparebtly the same result?!   It's a no brainer if this is the case

Good shout regarding options of wearing one of the others during the day for a few hours. Will have to try one at a time I think for now. But the ESL40 is cheap and looks easy to set up and use in this type of daily ( sometimes ) scenario

I'm alreasy using Cialis and VED and am currently trying to get Pentox prescribed by my Doctor. Although it is nor recognized as Peyronies treatment by the NHS here and is proving to be hard to get !

Fix this: There is a slight improvement in the bend. Flaccid length improved dramatically, this is the first thing I noticed within weeks. 5mm increase in stretched penile length when I checked 1 month ago. Will check length again in another month or so. Been using it since late March.

Other things I have been doing are keto diet, then carnivore diet, then back to keto but now I am just on meat and veg and not worrying too much about trying to stay in ketosis due to too much weight loss. Having a lower fat percentage really helped me with improvements in peyronies along with the stretching from traction.

My erections got worse at first before they eventually improved probably due to the penis adjusting to all that tension. I didn't have hourglassing to begin with or after using it so lucky there.

Thanks again Pfract and Bent Ding Dong. Good info

I'll be looking at the Keto diet again soon. Tried it for a few days but didn't enjoy the Keto flu and lack of carbs

This may be a seperate post .  But relating to these traction devices - Has anyone worn a traction device overnight ?  I've heard that you can do that with the PMP or ESL40?  But imagine it could be a bit risky overnight ? Any experiences there ?...

Many thanks

Hello,

I haven't tried traction overnight, but was wondering the wisdom of this action?

The body regenerates while sleeping. Therefore, would it not be better to allow penis to rest and recover? From a day's therapy. Rather then having a device attached. With all stresses it brings? Any minute tears that require repairing may not process?

On the other hand, stretching simply allow blood to flow into the plaque. Slowly clearing it.

Iv subscribed to the first approach. Tractiion therapy during the day. Rest and regeneration during sleep.

But if there is a doctor in the house? Would appreciate your thoughts?
Latest routine. Started l-lysine 3mg daily, l-proline 5mg daily. Increased vit c intake. Accompanied with almost daily vacuum therapy. Pumping to 100% Exercise caution! Made good progress. L arginine supplements and prescribed potaba are helping.
