Hi Guys,

I'm 49 and until recently never had a problem with my erection. Now it's bending up. What used to be a 6" woody is now 4". The only recollection I have of an injury was back in March I was putting my belt on and when I pulled it through the first loop the buckle flew up and hit square across the dorsal side of my penis. Bad enough it happened once, but I did it twice more in a week hitting the same spot. Felt so childish at the time as I've put my belt on thousands of times. I should know better.

It hurt for a bit but no bruising. Didn't think any more of it, then my penis started bending. I've not been officially diagnosed but have my appointment on 5/15. I'm also a Type 1 Diabetic which I believe adds to the risk factor.

Looking to learn more about handling this situation and possible treatments.

Thanks!!!

I highly recommend you check out Dr. Bernstein's book the Diabetes Solution. You want to keep your insulin doses low via diet in order to avoid the damage that insulin itself causes.

Consider VED and traction, and perhaps supplements like CoQ10, ALCAR, and the drugs if you want to go that route (pentox and cialis). See a specialist if you can. The physical therapies and oral therapies truly do work, don't lose hope, and treat your penis very kindly!

Thanks NeoV, I'll check it out. I'll be discussing all the options with my Urologist. From what I can tell Peyronies Disease is a specialty of his. Hoping the conversation will be productive.
