I know ultimately this is my decision, but wanting to hear what others have to say or experienced. I have been through 3rounds (6 injections) thus far. I have had very good improvement. Went from 55 degree bend with indentation to 30(could be better now) degree curve with minimal indentation. I have 2 more injections to go. But part of me feels like stopping as I feel I'm at a good spot. As mentioned, I am at 30 degree...that measurement was done after round 2, the midway point. After last two injections, I feel it's even better. My plaque is definitely soft and or dissolving. My lump is not near what it was. Sometimes I can't hardly even feel it. But for one injection that caused a burst blood vessel and a trip to emergency room, other shots were not to bad, relatively speaking. But do I take the chance with 2 more injections when I feel I am in a good spot, or not? Thoughts?

A double edged sword really? What does your gut feeling tell you to do? What would you do if not for those two events?

Here is what I am finding out. I had 5 rounds. More than 10 shots since he did some 2 times. I was still left with a kink and a bend. Having sex is still difficult. Trying to put it in has made it worse. Lack of confidence because I know it will be difficult and that it might make it worse. Sometimes I have hurt it trying to force my way in because I didn't know if it was aimed right. Almost comical. If you leave it that way you will face the same fun trying to have sex. While getting the injections, I really didn't think about it too much. But it has grown into something bigger than me. Soon as I get some money , I am going back to the doctor and see if he thinks he can get it straighter. I vote for finishing the job. A crooked dick is still a crooked dick. I am also looking into getting some cialis. This crap is giving me ED. Maybe that will give me more confidence
5 Rounds of Xiaflex. Good results.

Pfract...not sure my gut feeling goes one way or the other. I personally feel my curve is much less than the 25-30 degree the doc measured prior to my last two injections. When I have an erection n look at while standing, just a but of curve. My indentation isn't near what it was...more of a bit of hourglass on one side. I go back n forth. The shots as we know are not fun. But part of me thinks I have already done 6, why not just finish it out? One day I say I am done, the next I feel like finishing it up! Idk!
Bubba....I get what u are saying. But I am having no sexual issues currently.

One thing I need to look into is my insurance. I know once the shots are shipped to my doc, they won't take them back. I don't wanna walk in and say I am done, then get charged for the shots because I didn't use them. Not sure how that works. My doc is going to do another evaluation of my curve prior to my injections on the next round.

Sounds like you're in good shape w either decision.  Congrats on your progress.  Did you do any traction or VED along w the injections?

I'd say give it some time to make a decision, so you know exactly what you want. But let me add that you've come this far....  Why not finish it off? Easier than to try it later on... And then you know that it did or did not work for you. Later on you can try conservative therapies too...

Here is the update gentleman. So I was scheduled for my last two injections.(7,8) this week. The doc wanted to do one last evaluation prior to the xiaflex. But i was worried if I chose not to do them, I would get charged for the shots since i have to give the pharma company permission to send the shots. Once they send them, they will not take them back. So I was worried if I didn't use them, my insurance would get wind of it, then turn around and charge me. So I just called my doc and scheduled an eval (induce erection and measure) before giving permission to send shots. Anyway, great news...the evaluation showed that my curve is now less than 10%!! Which I kind of suspected just from looking...didn't realize it was that good though. So the doc told me he really didn't see the need to do the last two injections. I started at a 55 degree curve with a pretty good indentation.
So my only issue is that I have a narrowing around the base of my penis (kind of hour glass I guess). Causes a little stability. But....from where I was, to where I am...I can't complain!! Its been a long year, as many know on here! I am just relieved to be done with the injections!
So I guess I am here to say, Xiaflex works! At least for me! I also did Pentox and took a handful of supplements daily as well! Maybe the combination did the job. Who knows. I didn't use any devices, just hand stretching aggressively.

How aggressive did you strech? I can't seem to get any results from xiaflex... On round 5!!!!

Right after each injection my doctor did some hand modeling. Hurt really bad. I lifted off the table bracing lol Every doctor seems to do things differently. I would have hoped it helped my problem. My hand modeling wasnt that rough. I stopped just before there was pain. About 10 minutes  3 times a day

Jfriction...I was pretty aggressive. Did much more than the recommended 3 times per day. I did stretching every which way possible. Mostly against the curve. I also was on pentox and took a handful of supplements as well. Who knows if they played a part in my success or not. I honestly did not visually see improvement until after the halfway point, shot #4. I had pretty good improvement after that. Then even more after shots 5 and 6. Then the doc and myself decided at less than 10 degree curve, to stop at that point. I obviously wasn't going to argue with him!
