Hello everyone, just found this excellent forum tonight and have been reading through the posts to catch up best I can.

I've had pelvic pain for 7 years (since 2012) due to a left hip labral tear I had 9 years ago that didn't get repaired until 2015, as well as a highly degenerated L5/S1 disc (looking to see if a microdiscetomy will help).  I do a ton of PT for the pelvic pain and things were getting better this year, although I had reduced sexual sensation and it takes me longer to achieve orgasm.

My reduced sexual sensation slowly started to lead ED in late 2016.  I believe by lasting so long during sex, and by going rough, I slowly started developing fibrosis in my proximal shaft.  This led me to see Dr Goldstein in San Diego in early 2018 and I got three rounds of PRP with him, which he said showed improvement on the ultrasound but my ED stayed about the same.

10 mg cialis was enough to address my ED, until I bent my penis during sex in Feb 2019 because I wasn't fully hard.  There was no pain at the time, but i had swelling the next day.  I abstained from sex for two week and in mid Feb Dr Goldstein did an ultrasound and said he say a fracture/increased fibrosis in the proximal erectile tissue.  I did two rounds of PRP and 14 rounds of shockwave, but feel that my ED is slowly getting worse.  I have a 20 degree bend to the left, about 5-10 degrees more than my natural curve.

I've been taking 20mg cialis and 1,000 mg arginine daily since the injury, and only this week convinced Dr Goldstein to prescribe me Pent and also discovered the studies on COQ-10.  So as of today (3 mths from my injury) I'll be taking the full set of recommended meds and supplements recommended from this forum's survival guide.

Since I haven't seen results from the PRP and shockwave therapy, I've started to look in to stem cells and have set up consultations with Dr Zahalsky in Florida and Dr Lander in Palm Springs.  I'm also scheduled to get a 2nd opinion with UCSF here in SF where I live.

I want very much to do everything I can while still in the acute phase.  I try to get an erection daily to help blood flow get to the tissue, and I continue to have sex (gently as I can, and as of last week I've started using 10 units of bimix to ensure I get fully hard).

Does anyone have further thoughts or suggestions I may be missing?

I see mixed messages on whether it's "safe" to have sex...is the consensus that it's OK to continue as long as I can get fully erect (using bimix)?

Thank you all in advance

So far there's no serious evidence that PRP, shockwave or stem cells help w peyronies.  I'd consider finding a doc who will confirm or rule out peyronies e an ultrasound, if done erect can also diagnose some causes if Erectile Dysfunction.  Be sure to read the survival guide here: Peyronies Survival Guide - Information for New Members - Peyronies Society Forums

I found Cialis daily (5mg per day) with the combination of Pentox helped much more than 10-20mg as needed for my erectile dysfunction. Daily use also promotes night time erections which can be healing to the fibrosis.

Checkout VED and traction - would definitely benefit your situation.

Maybe a Chiropractor can help you? Back problems can wreak havoc on your pelvic area. Do a lot of  research and find a good one. One that won't treat unless he or she can do you some good
5 Rounds of Xiaflex. Good results.
