L-Arginine vs. Cialis

Hey, everyone! Long time no post. My first lump popped up just over a year ago, and my urologist put me on daily Cialis, and I've been pretty happy with it. My original lump has now reduced in size to the point that it's barely noticeable, and the associated indentation is almost gone, too. Unfortunately, a new lump popped up out of nowhere last month, and it's causing a slightly larger indentation.

I saw a new urologist, and she recommended I take L-Arginine instead of Cialis, because she said they both stimulate blood flow to the penis. Also, it's MUCH cheaper than Cialis, and I don't have the money to buy another 30 days of pills right now. I'm a little nervous about switching, though, since Cialis has always worked so well. I don't have any Erectile Dysfunction, so I'm not worried about that. I just don't want my deformity to progress.

Anyone have any opinions?

Cialis works differently than arginine and citrulline, as it is a pd3 inhibitor. Cialis basically closes the gate so nitric oxide stays in the penis, while arginine increases it, or something along those lines.

Cialis probably works better long term, since arginine and citrulline get down regulated fast by the body. That said, using it at odd times or before sex is a good idea.
