Hello,

So bit of back story. I'm 21 years old, I got into my first serious relationship nearly 6 months ago, at that time I noticed I have difficulties maintaining 100% erections. As a massive hypochondriac I went to internet and read the horrible stories of venous leaks etc etc. Everyone around me told me it was in my head. I didn't accept this and pushed for Doppler, I diagnosed with penis arterial insufficiency due to left deep artery hypoplasia. I was already using Viagra 100mg which was working very well for me if I was not anxious so nothing really changed for me besides knowing it was not in my head.

Fast forward till 3 days ago, I'm having sex with my girlfriend on top, she got very excited and she accidentally landed on my penis, there was sharp pain and my erection went from 90% to like 50% I don't recall any loud poping sound and there was no swelling or eggplant like deformation. I rushed to ER straight away, I was in mild pain, enough to feel it but be able to sort of function with it. Doctor asked few questions and looked at my penis, he concluded that a true fracture would make the inside of it tear open and fill it with blood leaving it looking like an egg plant so he was happy to let me go.

The same day I went back home terrified if I will be able to achieve erections, when I was at home I tested to see if I could get one, and I could, a 100% erection and I was able to maintain it too. I was happy. However, I still feel slight aching on the right side of my penis. My right testicle seems to hurt the most and maybe its radiating pain into the penis? I masturbated like 6 time since that incident and noticed that after masturbation pain is stronger, no major pain during the erections, no  new bend (I have a slight bend to the left since always). Still, I check my penis obsessively to make sure that there is no plaque. Am I being unreasonable here? what should I do?

Chances are it's just a slight injury, try and let your penis rest and heal. Don't become too obsessed with erection checking or it will not be able to recover.

After a few weeks if the pain continues then I would definitely go in to see a urologist who specialises in peyronies and perhaps get another ultrasound.

Thank you so much for your reply, it definitely calmed me down a bit.
Just one question, would the plaque be visible on the ultrasound?

Ultrasound doesn't always show plaque/scar tissue. You can still have peyronies with plaque that does not show in an ultrasound.

However, as you are not showing a bend or curvature chances are your penis just needs rest and recovery from the injury.
