One more sleep until my Lue Proceedure

Off for my Lue proceedure in the morning.

Have to be at the hospital for 7:30, and it's a 2 hour drive.  So an early start.

Absolutely bricking it, but so need this sorted.  Especially as I have redundancy hanging over my head, and with it the loss of my private health insurance.  There are very few specialists in the Uk, particularly those working in the NHS.

I'm slightly concerned as I've been having a tingling at the top of my penis for the last week, so hope it's just nerves and nothing that could stop the operation.

Anyway, I'll post my experience if anyone interest.  Especially those in the UK, as there seem to be less of us posting experiences.

Unbelievably after being booked for 4 months, the operation has been cancelled.

I travelled 2 hours, leaving home at 5am, got dressed up in the gown and stockings, only to be told that the operation has been postponed pending further investigations into a blood clot I had 25 years ago, which I had informed them of over a year ago.

I though going private things would go smoothly, but in this occasion I think I would have been better on the NHS.

Sorry to hear this.  Was it excision and grafting surgery you had scheduled?
