Hello, I have had Peyronies for about 5 weeks now. I had no symptoms until one day I got an extreme pain when masturbating. The following day I felt a very hard lump just under the glans of my penis. Fast forward 2 weeks and I had an ultrasound done, the results were a 12 mm by 1.2 mm calcification straight up from ventral to dorsal. When I feel it, it feels like a thin piece of bone. Very hard to the touch. My question was, is this a horrible case of peyronies that may not be able to be treated? I am terrified to find out that they can't remove the calcified plaque. I know that if they can't remove it I will never be able to have a pain free orgasm again. My penis seems to not expand at all where the plaque is and does not get longer either. The reason I ask is that I live in Canada and have been told that I cannot see a specialist for 12-18 months. I am terrified of having to live with this forever :(. I actually have a new plaque that has formed in the center of my septum that feels round like a BB pellet but on the part of the penis closest to my body, so a plaque on both ends now. I saw in this article that they removed a plaque from a mans septum that feels like what mine is. (graphic content - figure c)

If anyone has heard of doctors being able to remove a plaque like that, could I expect my girth to sort of fill out a bit again? Or is that a permanent loss for me? I really appreciate any feedback.

The pain is separate from the plaque and will subside then go away in the coming weeks.  Until you see a specialist have your doc prescribe pentox (Trental) low dose daily PDE5 inhibitors (cialis 5mg or viagra 50mg) and start traction and/or VED when pain permits. Pentox also helps w the pain, until then consider anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen.  Can also use diclofenac sodium gel for pain.  Be sure to start w reading the guide: https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php?action=search2. You've caught this early and are in the right place!
