Wnt signaling pathway and Peyronies and other diseases
« on: March 14, 2019, 05:47:13 AM »

I have said before that I firmly believe Propanolol being a key factor (sudden incorrect/unsupervised intake and withdrawals alongside small injuries) in part the issues I currently go though (not all of them unfortunately). I humbly in my little knowledge share this.

From these studies I have found the direct chemical correlation of genes/protein synthesis that leads me to this:

Many in the forum enhance this and I did read from many that the best specialists are standing in the essential effects of protein enzymes to treat this disease.

Wnt signaling pathway is the key

https://www.genecards.org/cgi-bin/carddisp.pl?gene=DKK2 This gene encodes a protein that is a member of the dickkopf family. The secreted protein contains two cysteine rich regions and is involved in embryonic development through its interactions with the Wnt signaling pathway. It can act as either an agonist or antagonist of Wnt/beta-catenin signaling, depending on the cellular context and the presence of the co-factor kremen 2. Activity of this protein is also modulated by binding to the Wnt co-receptor LDL-receptor related protein 6 (LRP6). [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

It might be wrong attempt for now and I thank you in advance for your attention. I will look for some experts to review and can share it but if anyone has any input or simply opinion over this it is highly appreciated.

All the best

will definitely have a look NeoV. Glad you agree and find it useful.

I cannot find the info you referred to. Could you please share it?

Oral propranolol and metoprolol both impair glucose recovery from insulin-induced hypoglycemia in insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus. ... Thus, they are at increased risk for prolonged hypoglycemia if treated with a nonselective beta-adrenergic antagonist such as propranolol.

''The genetic interaction between PGE2 and wnt signaling may provide insight into the basis of carcinogenesis occurring in cases of chronic inflammation. Chronic overproduction of PGE2 may lead to constitutive Wnt activation in vivo, resulting in tissue proliferation''

some people got Peyronies Disease from pge1 alprostadil injection and injection may not be the reason but pge1 ,also endourethral pge1 is prohibited for Peyronies Disease patients.I know pge1 is different than pge2 but it could  be prostaglandin in general.
also wnt is involved in insulin sensitivity and we alredy know that insulin is related to Peyronies Disease, and some members get Peyronies Disease related inflammation by insulin spikes
