Pumping to full erection

First time use - was only able to pump to about 60% erection - I'm guessing this is normal.

I did watch NeV's video about not being able to pump to full the first time (that guy deserves an award for doing what he does).

How long did it take you guys till you were able to pump to full erection? I pump till about 60% then the suction is too strong n starts sucking my skin into the pump.

Cheers,

If pumping for treatment of peyronies, full erection is not recommended.  If doing to perform sex, you'll need at least 80%.  They have some base rings which prevent the scrotum from being sucked in as well.

If your skin is sucked in, the cylinder is too big.
It happened to me with a big diameter VED and I had to drop the cylinder.
Luckily the pump was good and I am using it with my old cylinder.

James - thanks for your reply - could you elaborate what you mean by the skin being sucked in?

I'm not sure if this is the cause or the fact I just started VED that I cannot pump to full erection.

If your cylinder is straight sided, get a comfort cushion for the end. Sometimes the suction pulls the cylinder tight enough to cut off blood flow.

Lube your dick or the cylinder. Sometimes having free moving skin helps improve the erection you get. It did with me.

If compatible with your pump, do it in a hot bath tub or warm up the cylinder.

Pump it up. Hold it for 20-30 seconds, release. Repeat a few times and see if that does it. Often you will find each successive round gains a little more.

Combo's of the above.

Cheers man.

Alibaba - thanks bro I think that's what is hapening - too much suction and it's cutting off blood flow. I think my skin close to the base then swells up a bit in the cylinder.

I'll try with extra lube.

Hoping I dont have to buy a new VED as they're expensive af here in Australia.

I disagree about pumping to a full erection being unsafe as that was what patients were instructed to do in the successful VED study. The protocol below is the only protocol that has actually been tested in a clinical environment with results being published in a peer reviewed study.

-----------------------------

Over a 12-week period, the patients used a vacuum device without the constriction ring, for 10 min twice daily to stretch the penis. The cylinder was applied to the penis and slowly inflated until the penis was erect and maintained in this position for 3 min. The vacuum was then released to allow the erection to subside and the process repeated over a 10-min period.

------------------------------

The above was the method used in the peer reviewed published study I linked to above, which had successful results for participants. It also had no adverse incidents which pretty much destroys the idea that holding pressure sufficient to sustain a normal erection beyond a few seconds will cause damage.

I always thought extra blood = extra oxygen so pumping to a full erection would be beneficial as long as it wasn't held for too long.

I think the issue is probably the temptation to pump a bit past 100% erection.

I agree sknunkeorks and where the point of full erection is difficult to be sure in the VED.  If going for until erect as in this study—always stop and/or back off if any discomfort so as to not go past what you're dick can tolerate.

The temptation to see a bigger dick inside the VED makes people to pump to the level that is painful and makes damage.
Just stop before this level or release a little not to eliminate the pain.
