Just over a week of cialis fading results.
« on: March 03, 2019, 06:39:18 PM »

So I took cialis maybe 10 days ago for the first time. 5mg daily use pill taken at 6pm. Worked amazingly first time rock hard and had sex twice that night with my partner and it was the best Iv had since my Peyronies Disease started 6 months ago.

I noticed that the side effects (headache/stuffy nose) were making me feel lousy and ordered some 2.5mg daily’s incase this didn’t subside. (My hardons were incredible at this stage so assumed 2.5mg would still have the desired effect as they were even more reliable than before my Peyronies Disease) and I was getting morning wood again.

My side effects were easing up a little bit but found tht I was waking up with quite a headache so thought I would move the time I take them to just after I wake up instead and hopefully that would help my morning headache go away as I was fine for mostly the rest of the day.

So I missed a dose and took it the next morning. Been taking it in the morning for maybe 3 days now and morning headaches gone but not realy getting anywhere near as good an effect as I was when I first started taking it. No spontaneous elections during the day. Struggling to have intercourse again.

So I’m now moving back to taking them at 6pm everyday as of today but I’m now on my 2.5mgs to hopefully help with the side effects I just hope that by taking them at 6pm again regularly I’ll get the desired effect that I had when I first started taking them. Anyone had any similar problems or built up resistance to cialis?

Any insight would realy help. Thanks guys

So it is probably not that you are building up resistance. Three days is not long enough to judge anyway, there is a natural up and down to sexual performance and so many other possible factors, not enough sleep, stress etc. Plus considering the half life of cialis, and you not getting spontaneous erections during the day, that suggests to me the drop in performance might not be cialis related.

I'd stick with either 2.5mg each night or 5mg every second night, and stay at that for a month.  Is it brand name stuff?

Per the instructions it is taken daily (not every other day) to build up in your system.  If 2.5mg doesn’t work then it is increased to 5mg daily.  Alternatively it can be taken as needed for sex and the dosage is 5-20mg before sex.

There was at least one study which showed significant benefit from every other day dosing, I will post when not on tablet. Plus the halflife alone would strongly suggest eod  dosing would be fine.
