So I have a a bunch of ongoing injuries due to my Elhers Danlos syndrome. Many of my tendons and ligaments are frayed or otherwise mildly damaged due to my frequent joint dislocations. I have read that pentox inhibits collagen synthesis and prevents fibrosis, which sounds like something I don't want for my injured joints. Also I do notice a mild to moderate increase in pain when i take pentox, but I just re-injured the peyronies and I want to do everything possible to fight it. Is it possible that pentox really is bad for actively healing tendons?
