15 days, Amazing how time flies when you are waiting around for the day when someone takes a really sharp instrument to your most favorite body part. Never thought I would look forward to having a knife that close to my dick. I just hope he does not sneeze when he makes that first cut.

Had all my last appointments. EKG and a stress test, blood work this Friday. This time I was tri mixed right at 6 inches. I was not fully hard so maybe I can get another little bit out of it. My BPS is right at 6.25 inches and I make a good 6.5 in the ved tube. On a good day I can get almost 6.75 in the tube, but it really adds a lot of fluid to my foreskin so I have been settling on the 6.5 and will hope for the best. Keeping my fingers crossed when the weeks and months go by and I am cycling I can keep around 6.

Doc reassured me that I will keep my tri mix length and will get my girth back. The dents should disappear over time from cycling the titan. He will implant the pump and tubes with the penoscrotal incision, but will probably use a small abdominal cut for the reservoir. This is due to a prior extensive stomach surgery I had years ago and he wants to make sure it get placed correctly and does not interfere with anything the prior doc did. He is going to insert a drain and keep me overnight in the hospital. Not to much on here about drains being used, but what I have read, says it is fairly common.

The only negative is that I have not heard from the insurance company. My BCBS policy covers the implants for specific reasons. The Doc said venous leaks is normally a non issue, so do not worry and just mentally prepare for the 7th. Me, I never count my chickens before they are hatched. To many damn coyotes around here to eat the damn things. So I will be happy when  BCBS approves it.

FYI, Decided to just go with a local Cincinnati urology group due to issues with my wifes health and her inability to travel very far. They are a Coloplast Center of Excellence site, whatever that really means. To be honest I would have liked to have Kramer or Eid do it, but just am not willing to wait a year until my wife would feel comfortable making the trip, or follow ups in case something bad happened to me.

Nervous as hell, but no real options. I have been working out good, walk/jog 4 miles three times a week, lift weights every other day. Will stop my meds 7 days before surgery along with supplements. Dropped weight down to 180 to get that damn fat pad as small as possible. Trying everything I can think of to not give the doc a reason to undersize me. Hoping for at least a 20 cm titan and no extensions or close anyway. Time will tell.

Nothing much left but to watch the clock and tick off the days. Hope everyone is doing good.

With docs that are not high volume, I'd emphasize length-being ok w RTEs vs none as if they underside you a bit they will address by adding RTEs instead of leaving them off if they heard you don't want any.  Hope that makes sense.  I'm happier w full length vs shorter length w a higher angle due to no RTEs.

Days are just flying by. Had my visit with my general practitioner and got my bloodwork. All looks good. Talked to surgery center, all good there. They want to talk to my cardiologist for some reason. Luckily I had an EKG a few weeks ago along with a treadmill stress test. Told me I was healthy and did great, so should not be an issue.

One interesting thing, my general doc wanted me to see another urologist just to get another opinion, I figured what the hell, okay. Saw him, and he told me, yep, I have peyronies for sure. He did not do an in depth examination, we just went over the history. He did tell me if I had seen him as my first urologist after the accident, he would have done tests before just writing me a prescription for viagra. Those would have included blood flow tests, a tri mix injection, and measurements, just to get it in my history. He also goes over with new users of viagra that you need to make sure you have a good erection for sex, if it is to soft, you could injure yourself. Damn. I guess there are some good docs out there. As for now, he agreed I had no options. The titan would fix my 30 to 35 degree curve, along with the hourglass, and since it was scheduled for next week, I would be crazy not to go through with it.  Crazy is my word, but he said I needed to have it done.

Oh, he also did measure me. He gave it a good pull and measured at 6.25 inches. He said the glans might be  pulled a little to tight so plan on somewhere around the 6 inch mark. He thought I had good stretch even with the peyronies and figured the traction and VED probably helped. The plaque is there, but not as noticeable as it was months ago, but the hourglass is still evident. He did not think the Pentox did anything for me, but if I am healthy, it probably did not hurt anything and could stop it after the implant is in and working. I could come back to him if I were to need any viagra or cialis to see about getting a glans engorgement, but he thought since I actually get blood flow, my glans should engorge just fine when I am horny. He also agreed with the other 4, the titan was my best choice and he implants both models himself. I asked how many a year, and he said not enough for me to cancel my surgery and worry about letting him do it. He said he personally knew my doctor, and his reputation and I was in good hands, time will tell. Did make me feel a little better.
