Bank tissue

We are so committed in thinking and hoping for a cure..but why tissue replecement from donor has never been attempted?? I read some articles in which authors urged medical community to set up a bank of penile tissue. I mean, my uncle has been recently operated and he has been implanted with donor ribs..no need for immunosuppressive therapies. I think it would be more receive than traditional grafts..

I think immunosuppression is not needed only with a connective tissue replacement or tissues such as rib cartilage. I may be wrong.
