Last Post : It's gone!

I can't tell how I'm feeling right now :)
I injured my penis exact 4 months ago on OCT 10, 2018. After this my penis started to curve on left mainly in flaccid and semi erect states. But curve used to decrease in erect state.
Flaccid/Semi Erect : 30°.
Erect : 10° .

I visited many urologists, but not even one could find what was wrong.
Till two months I had no idea, what was it. But I was sure about Peyronie's.

But then I did some research and concluded that if it's curving more in flaccid then it's because of swelling on right side. And I was right, I had no Peyronie's. It was swelling on right side which was causing curve to the left. But still I had doubts about it. So I did nothing.

As third month paased, I saw some improvement in curve. The edema was going away automatically but slowly.

Then I started to take food without salt. And took ibuprofen 400mg thrice a day, for 10 days. Plus I used to put my penis in cold water for 2-3 minutes twice daily. It worked so fast, within 6 days my curve was entirely gone. And there was no swelling :) .

Now, I stopped ibuprofen around 12 days ago. And I have no curve/pain/hardness/softness/dents/veins now.
All dark patches have gone, and ejaculations feel like they used to before injury. Penis is 100% normal back now. And I'm so happy I can't express.

Thanks all of you, for this forum, your answers, questions and time. Thankyou.

Great to hear man, it's giving me hope.

I'm going to try the Ibuprofen and cold water regime today. I remember My symptoms were very similar to yours.

Very happy for you brother!

I'm glad you're symptom free, but the timeframes sound much more like spontaneous resolution than anything to do with ibuprofen and cold water.

I injured myself in Dec 2018 and my penis is also curving whilst semi erect and not whilst it’s fully erect. You have honestly gave me hope. I do feel a plaque/ hard small lump on the left side though :-\ and my penis has become wrinkled and looks swollen below the head. It also looks oddly shaped after an erection. I hope it’s just an injury that needs to heal. I’ve been for a ultrasound and they told me they don’t see any plaques. I hope it heals because I’ve been in a dark place for 3-4 months, stopped talking to many people because they are expecting me to be my old self but it’s hard and I’ve lost my job lol life’s that crap at the moment that I’m actually finding it funny.

What I'd recommend is to just keep applying hot compresses to the area like twice a day for 30 mins or so. And just let erections occur naturally. Also wear loose fitting g pants and underwear. Don't try to force any erections. Your goal is to minimize all inflammation to have the least amount of scarring possible. And honestly since the penis prevents fibrosis through erections you can just let your nocturnal erections do everything. If I would have been more patient and applied heat to get blood flowing I would have e definitely recovered sooner. I think my penis has a little ways to go. Believe me I hurt my really badly in Sept 2017. Now it's April 2019 and I can get erections everyday. Also my semi erect hourglassing has been minimized greatly. I also haven't lost any size and can even get erect while standing. My inflammation for that long time was what prevented me from getting erections. I aggravated it by trying to masturbate like an idiot.

Yes. It also had major hourglassing. But remember this is all dependent on how your body responds to trauma. I think Peyronies Disease is mostly genetic. It's been over a year and luckily I can have erections easily and they look the same. Also. I have been inactive. No exercise lately and am quite fat. So that definitely delayed any wound healing. Just please don't test erections, let your nocturnal erections take care of it and use heat compresses because that will bring blood flow to the area. Your body is different from mine so I cannot say how you will be months from now. I recommend if you can, get a prescription from a doctor for Cialis to promote blood flow to your penis. This will prevent scarring. Also if you exercise don't do anything that will put pressure on the area. So walk at a brisk pace, lift weight. If you're doing back exercises use machines etc. Overall treat this like any other body injury. Stay off of it! The more you leave it be, the quicker it will recover.
