General consensus on PRP Shots + stem cells
« on: February 09, 2019, 04:37:58 PM »

Hello. What’s the general consensus in these treatments? I’m getting so many mixed results in studies, testimonials, articles online etc.

I’ve been trying shock wave therapy with some results as far as erection quality goes along with VED Aand cialis.

I still have Erectile Dysfunction and palpable scar tissue almost along the entire shaft. Would it help in my situation to improve either of these ailments?

I don’t believe you’ll find anyone here who’s peyronies was helped by either.  Better pentox, low dose daily PDE5 inhibitors, traction, VED and xiaflex.  See the guide: Peyronies Survival Guide - Information for New Members - Peyronies Society Forums

I have seen good results with stem cells - but only when harvested from your bone marrow.

Also - not for Peyronies Disease. More for Erectile Dysfunction.

For whatever it is worth I too have had PRP (3 rounds), ESWT and stem cells.  Bottom line is none helped me with Peyronies Disease although there is a fair amount of research that ESWT can help some with Erectile Dysfunction.  Unfortunately the PRP may have done a bit more damage instead of improving the situation.  I tried the PRP with the hopes of mitigating some hourglassing and found my curve becoming worse after a couple of weeks of the last treatment.  It was most likely due to the PRP being injected directly into the plaque causing more trauma. PRP doesn't break down plaque like collagenase (Xiaflex) is intended to.  It is also pretty expensive but I recognize that all of us are chasing that elusive treatment short of surgery to fix the problem. Ultimately I have decided on a penile implant scheduled for March.

PRP is a scam if talking about Peyronies and Erectile Dysfunction
Enough discussions on the forum in the subject to understand that

I got stem cells + prp and saw some minor improvements in my penis as well as my knees, although not nearly enough to justify the very high price. I got the exact same improvements (dent filling in, tissue smoothing out) times 10 from fasting and it’s free. I did gain some girth from stem cells but again, I wouldn’t recommend it unless the price drops dramatically. There have also been members who had excessive “needling” done during injection and it made them worse.

I did decide to have the clinic bank my cells, so I’m going to be having them send a batch to my house once or twice a year so I can inject them intravenously for very low cost for the anti-aging benefits. Probably won’t be going back for more injections anywhere on my body though.
