When libido is the main issue

Hi all, injured myself roughly a year ago, was diagnosed with penile scarring along the right corpus.

Since my injury my flaccid is deformed and lumpy, which is probably psychologically my most tolling symptom. I avoid looking at it to the point where I'll sit to pee.

Since the injury I've had very very low libido. I can basically only get an erection from porn, I never FEEL horny without at least kickstarting it with porn (and the porn needs to be pretty perverse/thrilling. Standard porn does nothing for me.)

But basically in these rare moments when I feel actually horny, I have a nice solid erection that last. Is it possible my low libido is a physical result from my injury / Peyronies Disease?

I'm currently taking 5mg daily tadafidil, which gave me some improvements in Oct - started getting radom erections all the time, but thus slowly deminished to none at all again.

Low libido can be a psychological result of your injury and avoiding any focus on your penis.  It could be a psychological addiction to ever more intense pornography.

It could be caused by the physical impact of low testosterone.  There is nonway your injury could result in an actual direct physical cause of low libido.

If you are getting an erection while watching porn it means due to psychological reasons you are not able to perform so no need to take medicines. You can cure this problem naturally. Don't think that without porn you can't get an erection. Try different sex positions or techniques like getting a bath with warm water or massage. Start sexual interaction slowly.

Hey,

Thanks for the replies guys, I agree there's a massive psychological element at play.

Though I am diagnosed with likely corporal fibrosis by a peyronies 'expert'. The physical structure of my penis has changed, even when I feel horny it's slower inflate, cialis definitely improves that for me, but the main thing it does for me is reduces my flaccid dick shrink; at least on cialis it actually hangs normally, rather than sticks out like a jagged twig... I'm a believer in continual cialis improving the overall health of an injured dick by encouraging bloodflow. Finally, I've managed to be really lucky - the peyronies 'expert' I mentioned earlier works high up in Southampton hospital (Southen UK), in my appointment I asked him if he'd refer me for a drug that doesn't require premeditated sex. He wrote a letter to my GP, and I believe I'm one of the few getting it on the NHS at a very reduced price (£8.70 instead of like £40-50 per month).

I've decided to try antidepressants, I know they can cause low libido themselves, but think this will help me care less about my dick, and thus make me feel more confident in it.

Low T can cause you to be depressed. You got andropause. I would first try and get the T level up. The only real way to do that is T steroid. That is what I am doing. Has made me feel better. I am a year into it. Read up on low t and see all the health problems it can cause. Mentally and physically

That's the main component when it comes to Peyronies Disease..the dissociation many of us start living. Out of sudden your penis is an enemy, something just attached to your body. Loss of libido and sensory problems are the natural consequence of it. That's the most cruel part of the disease, like the last punch into the face while you are already fainting due to ED, curvature and so on.

In my case time helped, but it helped as well getting rid of most of the bumpy crap I had inside my penis. I used to noi think at all I could have sex, now I can imagine. The idea of penetrating is not painful anymore.

Just for future reference: Daveypete and I had similar injuries, and I recently got my T checked and it clocked in at like 500 or 530. Supposedly in the normal range for 25 y/o man. From what I gather, my aversion/depression on it hasn't been as bad as his, but it hasn't been great. I also have problems with having to "jump start" me libido, but when it gets going, it's fine.

Possibly relevant: It takes forever for me to piss, I have to maintain a focus on adding numbers or something equally stupid to get it going. If some other random dude walks into the F^@$!ng bathroom, I can't piss. This happened almost immediately following the injury, even when the psychological crap wasn't so bad, because I didn't understand what I was in for.

Prolonged fasting + NoFap 3-month flatline.

If not, TRT + hGH therapy.
Snake Diet + 5-day fasts + pentox + NeoV's stretching routine + Mito Red Light. Curvature 99% gone.

I also used Todd Capistrant's "Fascial Distortion Model" to help my curvature. Start slowly.

Has the doc given you a full workout for Erectile Dysfunction?  Be sure to get a full hormone check.  Here's a good article on it:  https://www.lifeextension.com/protocols/male-reproductive/male-hormone-restoration/Page-01  Also an erect ultrasound can diagnose blood flow issues.
