Hi I am new here, 28 years old.

I noticed discomfort and irritation right below the glans on the left side and a slight curve left (10 degrees).
After this point I sometimes felt annoying pain, sometimes just mild irritation.

I feel like things started to stabilize. I started feeling less daily pain.

1-2 months ago
Pain got back and I went to the GP, he told me to wait it off for a few more months. I noticed an indentation on the left side and also pain on the right side. I stopped sleeping with underwear, I noticed that my erection sometimes got stuck at night in my underwear resulting in more pain. I went back to GP and he sent me to the Urologist.

Last week
Urologist told me it is a inflammatory condition and they stopped giving medication as nothing has seemed to work in the past 50 years. Most likely it will stabilize in a few months. If it gets worse I need to go back and they will see if surgery is necessary, but hopefully not.

Current situation
I am used to the pain now and am hopeful it will fade away soon.
Erections are fine mostly (10-15 degree curve), hard-flaccids curve a bit more because of the flexibility. When flaccid I notice an indentation.
I am mostly worried about the indentation, it makes the left side weak and I feel it makes it more accident prone, which could make things worse. I cannot feel any hard tissue (never did), just looks like there is less penile tissue on the left side.

Is this indentation likely scar tissue, or has the penile tissue just been damaged and disappeared?
Is there a way to improve the indentation after everything stabilizes?
Is there a chance that the indentation will recover after a few months?

Thank you!

I have a nice indent. I can only feel the scar tissue when I am half hard. It is a band of thickened tissue. Try to see if you feel anything. So far I have not been able to fix it. I've been aggressively stretching 9 months. Ive increased flexibility and pain Jaś decreased. Dent has varied a bit. Sometimes worse, sometimes a little better. Seems to get better with upward traction but then I am more sore.

John Doe...did ur uro diagnose u with peyronies? Did he discuss peyronies at all? I went to one uro who diagnosed me with Peyronies but basically blew me off and said to come back in 6months. Wasn't good enough for me so I researched and found a uro who specializes in peyronies. I truly believe the sooner u can get some treatment, better off u will be. If it is peyronies, if u let it go to long, calcification can set in then u are limited in treating it...basically surgery at that point.
Early 50s, 7 months diagnosed. 55 degree curve, indentation at base to the left.

Thanks for your reply. I really do not feel any scar tissue, or it is already that soft that it just feels like regular tissue. Sad to hear that you have not been able to fix it. For me the dent also changes shape, but I think it is because that area is just so flexible. The biggest problem is that there is no good way to monitor what is going on, besides how it feels like. The disease itself works very slowly, so I assume recovery is also not fast.
Do you connect the soreness with an increase of inflammation? I get this sore feeling after a hot shower, although I read it is supposed to help, but I am kind of scared for this heat now.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, although he called it IPP. Like I said in my previous post, he said nothing can be done, for most people symptoms fade away in a few months. He was the specialist in this hospital and does surgeries when necessary. What I found strange is that I got no lifestyle recommendations at all! Good point, I will see if I can find a more specialized place.

I thought there was no scar tissue left until I felt it during a partial erection. Otherwise, it feels non-existent. My dent blows. I hear stretching can help pull the dent out. NEO has had success with filling his dent. Mine might have calcified...not sure. But going to add in Restorex to my hand stretching routine for the next 4 months before going in for further medical evaluation. Ready for excision and grafting if needed.

My dents are much much better than before, and things look quite smooth. There is some variability, if I drink a lot of alcohol, have rough sex etc, but generally it looks very good now! Traction at a downward angle fixed it for me. I don't know what angle would help you exactly, but I still do it and I still get benefits in how my penis feels.

VED is also a miracle device for dents. You do NOT need to fill up your penis with the VED. Just do light pumps a few times a day, nothing serious.

Always masturbate with lube of some kind. You never want to masturbate dry with a grip. Your penis needs to fill out to it's max potential at least once a week. I find that avoiding porn is better than using porn when it comes to having quality erections.

I might have the same then if it is hard to feel. Hope it works out man!

Thanks for the response.

So I have read a few conflicting things now. Some people seem to be recommending abstinence, but then pumps, traction and getting regular erections are also recommended. Do you know a bit about the science or your best guess of what it is that is helping? From what you are saying, I assume regular blood flow is good for healing, but then movement (sex or masturbation) causes irritation/inflammation again.

But I do not yet understand what traction does. It opens up the scar tissue and lets blood flow through? How long did it take you to find out traction was working positively for you?

I have a few YouTube videos on this but I know I tend to ramble.

It's a bit of a dilemma, since you need to rest your penis enough for the inflammation to be gone, yet also fill it out properly. I had a lot of pain in my penis until I rested it and cut down all stimulation to about once a week or less. After that, I was gradually able to increase how often I could engage in sexual activity. Now, I can masturbate several times in a row or have sex multiple times a day without any issues. That said, I can see it getting worse if I wasn't careful.

My rule is complete rest and avoiding porn. Then, when you DO masturbate, use lube, stimulate your entire penis, and make it fill out to 100% for a good amount of time.

The problem with porn is that the day after, your penis will not be filled out as much. However, by not using porn, my penis is filled out even the day after masturbating by just seeing women walking around outside. Even the thought of a woman's body fills me out and makes me just feel a better blood flow. Porn tends to kill that capacity, and leaves my penis feeling really non-existent with less blood flow.

I had great success with treating Peyronie's. Using treatments such as traction and oral treatments with regards to lost length, bend and actual sexual function worked so well that I no longer have those problems.I had Erectile Dysfunction, it is cured. Traction in particular has been amazing for me. From the medical perspective of Peyronie's (angle of deviation and Erectile Dysfunction) I am cured.

However, the dents remained, I have had dents for almost a decade now (look at my join date)... VED did nothing, daily Cialis helped a bit but I think it was more just the dents being less visible due to erection strength.

Literally the only thing that has had a big impact on my dents is 2-3 day fasts while on a carnivore diet. It did not help while I was on strict Paleo. I've completed a second fast just recently and dents were further reduced.

I think if I had a less busy schedule and could do a 10 day fast, I'd be sorted.

I know people view this stuff with scepticism, and to be honest that is not my problem. I am going to say what worked, and what you do with that info is up to you. I've been here long enough that my word should be trusted and I have been at this long enough to objectively assess my own dents.

This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

Like Neo I've noticed that I actually get more erections with complete abstinence from porn and masturbation.  Along with switching to a Keto diet, quitting smoking and drinking, and taking an array of supplements, I find I get long lasting erections every morning.  I think the problem is ejaculating - that's when I have noticed my symptoms get worse.  I don't think you should be looking at porn at all and should monitor how the condition changes when you have sex.  At the same time, you don't need to be a monk you can still think about sex and flirt with girls and it will actually help your penis fill out in a more sustainable and natural way than using porn.

I can't speak to using VED or traction as I don't use those yet, but my supplements routine is 300 mg Coq10, 1000 mg Aceytl carnitine, 6000 IU Vitamin D, 4000 IU Vitamin C, 1000 IU Vitamin E, Magnesium Citrate 400 mg and Iboprofen 4-6 pills per day.  I also take Zinc, Ginseng, Arginine, Propolis when I feel like it.

In the morning I've been taking 1 tbls of Maca Powder, 1.5 tbls of raw Cacao powder, 1 tbls of Ashwaganda mixed in with a smoothie (I use unsweetened Acai, a couple strawberries and a banana - although I realize that this is probably bringing me close to my carb limit for the day.  Am going to start replacing a banana with an avocado and maybe cut out the strawberries.)

For lunch I'm at school so I'll get a chicken skewer and some nuts or something else like that.

At night I fry up either a grassfed steak or a piece of wild caught fish with garlic and put it over a shitload of greens - sometimes with an avocado - and douse it in olive oil.  Then I use the same pan and simmer a cup or two of beef bone broth and add 1 tbls of ginger powder, 2 tbls of turmeric powder, a bit of salt and black pepper and a cinnamon stic.  Let that simmer for 10 minutes until it's hot and then try to sip the whole thing down (stirring regularly to keep the powder from accumulating at the bottom).  It'll be very strong at first but eventually you'll get used to it.  The benefits I've found from this routine are enormous as the combination of the fatty meal and the bone broth soup makes me feel very tired, warm and satisfied.  I usually can't help be sit and relax on the couch for 30+ minutes after that and during that time I find my penis fills out really nicely. That's also a good time to meditate if you're do that.

It's counter to nature, but try not to erection check that will only make things worse and will increase your anxiety.  If you follow a keto diet, take anti-inflammatory, vasodilating and blood oxygenating supplements, and abstain from cigarettes and porn/masturbation it's likely your problems will heal up if you are in the early stage.  Try to get plenty of sleep and just basically try not to think about your penis (in terms of how it looks, it's healthy to get aroused and have sexual thoughts).

I would also recommend watching NeoV's videos on youtube as they are essential for any young guy dealing with these issues.

If it doesn't cause pain I would suggest starting to lift weights as well as that will increase testosterone which will keep the erections coming (especially at night).  Get plenty of sleep.

In my experience the worst thing you can do is masturbate, so don't do that  ;)

You're od'ing on all that The body will urinate the C it doesn't need, but the rest could get you in trouble in the long run. More is not always better. Some are not effected as much as others. Many just couldn't handle that much drugs. New studies out say just 400 iu of E a day over 10 years could lead to a stroke. That much ibuprofen could mess up the lining in your stomach( Increase risk of heart attack and stroke). Some of what you are taking should be ok. Just mixing all that stuff could be dangerous. Kidneys, liver etc. Over the counter still can be dangerous in mega doses and mixing
5 Rounds of Xiaflex. Good results.

Hi Johnyfoe, I'd start by reading the peyronies survival guide for a great overview of treatment.  It can get to be info overload when everyone speaks to what helped them (although great to hear).  A great strategy is to start w pentox (if u can get it), low dose daily PDE5 inhibitor at bedtime, and traction (doesn't hurt to add VED).  Lots of options but def read over the guide and bring your questions here. I showed my medication list and dosage to my GP and asked it it would be fine if I took that everyday for a few months.  She said no problem.  Once I'm back near 100% I'll start weaning off supplements.
