I think some cancer treatments are buried. I have heard this from medical professionals who think the same way. Chemo is a big money maker. Cancer treatment in general brings in billions of dollars. Creates a lot of jobs. Drug sales people push high dollar drugs on doctors. Giving them rewards for using their treatment ie trips etc Lessor more effective drugs are bought and buried by manufacturers imo.
True that not all diseases get funding that others do. Less researchers doing peyrones disease than there are doing cancer, kidney etc diseases. I dont think it is jealousy. I think it is all about money. Also about the number of people affected. About being life and  death. We do suffer mentally and physically but dont die from this disease.
There is a new Cancer drug being tested in Sweden that may be better than Chemo. We will see if that is buried.
Just my opinion!

MANY drugs that are better than the particular chemo protocol for various cancers are approved every year. But the chemo protocols also improve. Survival rates for cancers are skyrocketing and yet people still want to throw generalised slurs at the industry which is making this happen.

You know what triggers these sort of ridiculous theories? Drug A works great in mice for a specific cancer that those mice have been genetically modified to have. Drug A is then run in human trials, does not beat placebo nor current best practice treatment protocol. Trial does not continue. 'OMG Drug A has been buried by profiteering pharma company, look how well it did in mice'.

Same crap with Parkinson's treatments. Quite a few have worked amazingly well in mice while showing very little effect in humans.

Please show me a cancer drug that had great results in humans in a trial large enough to be statistically significant and yet did not continue onto phase 2/3 trials.

I'd had ED for at least the last 18 months, had been using viagra and now found I've also got Peyronies Disease
In quite a severe way, by reading all the comments it doesn't sound good for me going forward, I won't be having surgery, just try and live with it.
58 yr old male from UK with ED for 5 yrs and peyronies for 6 months. Its what life throws at you.

Possibly. Worth the wait should depend on how functional you are, how long it will take to be available, and how old you are.

The problem w waiting is usually the condition advances and worsens—often significantly.  I'd advocate early intervention (and only what you're comfortable w) ASAP to prevent worsening.  Meanwhile, for many depression over the loss of their previous penis immobilizes them and prevents action.  In that case I'd recommend treatment for depression as well.  Hang in there guy!

what are you even saying there?

He said nothing but a pure bitter true that many of people don't want to accept. I mean in his latest post in this thread.

@ Hontas

Women that improve themselves physically with surgery in most cases pay for that themselves Women that have medical issues like breast cancer, can sometimes have their insurance help pay for reconstructive surgery, but not always because you don't need breasts to live much like you don't need your penis to work to live.

Why not stop putting women down for doing what you won't. There is no one keeping you from going to have an implant put in so you can be happy. Will you have to pay for it yourself, maybe but so does the woman that wants to increase her breast size.

You might want to put more thought into the things you post before hitting that Post button

We men have Viagra type drugs. Women have nothing to stimulate them. I don't blame them for my problems. Lashing out at others for your sexual disfunction is just wrong

Women can ask for more and get it instantly so that they can mate with the best of the best of the best, while we are sitting like we have no other choice than accept this and move on.

Its like living in a nightmare where these shallow women get to have what they want to fake us but we cant do anything about it.

With the current feminist mindset and the evolutionary aspect i bet my whole properties that if they had the chance, every woman would get together in the world and select one mate to have sex with and toss all the other males in a graveyard.

I see, well I guess I shouldn't be offended by the statements above then. Have you even bothered to visits the boards the forum has on implants, to read the journals of the men who have had them done? Yes, you must have a top notch surgeon, but that needs to be the case no matter what kind of surgery you have. I am done addressing this with you. If you choose not to have surgery then that is your decision but that does not mean there isn't a fix.

How would he know? If he knew why he'd probably be able to get out of acute phase. He obviously doesn't know why and neither do others.

How many other people on here have stayed in the Acute phase for much longer than normal? Is there anyone here reporting the same. I have not been a member that long. Just wanting to see how rare Hontas problem is

I have a similair situation. My peyronies symptoms started with an injury from jelqing. It all started at the age of 17 and I'm 24 now. I wouldn't say I have pain 24/7 like Hontas does, but it did get worse even over the last couple months. It's like every once in a while the acute phase returns and everything feels inflammed. Sex is no option because it will leave me in pain, so I try to be very carefull, but so far it hasn't been totally stable even after years. I do have some pelvic floor tension, but I don't know if that's the real issue. I suppose I caused a lot of micro trauma from jelqing which only truly became noticeable months after. I admit I did some stupid crap at 17 years old and I wish I never did jelqing. But then again, I don't think I could have been more carefull than I've been since 18 so it's not something that just heals in a couple years or else it would have been stable right now.

I would think members with extended pain and/or acute stage have other problems going on besides Peyrones disease. Like you have a Venous leak Popopo. I didn't really do anything out of the ordinary to damage my dick and I still got Peyrones. Mine is just plaque and calcification. The acute phase long gone and began before the curve did. There just are different types of penis problems not related to Peyrones or a combo. Not sure what Hontas has but Peyrones active faze usually goes away in a short time

All I know is that my penis got smaller in girth and length, the sensitivity has decreased, I may have a venous leak (the doc wasn't sure actually) and I have scar tissue. Peyronies comes closest to the symptoms I got, but it doesn't really mattet anyway; cause so far no doc has been able to help.

I dont doubt you have peyrones. I was wondering how many members report being in the active phase for longer than a month.. No one on here seems to be able to have anything in comparison. If you are going to post on a forum you're going to get comments. Like it or not. Looks like 3 doctors could figure out your problem and help you with it.

I never disagreed, so I think you're not talking to me Hontas. But to me it doesn't really matter if you're here with ED, penile fibrosis, trauma from sex or classic peyronie's. In the end we want the same and that is to regain function and (maybe) size of the penis. For some there are treatments that work and others need to wait for a better solution. There's no need to discuss, if the solution is there you can probably find it on this forum.

Firstly, i was only talking to Bubba Dawg.

Secondly, I am just tired of all the comments where people try NOT to diagnose others for various reasons,so don't take it personally Bubba. All of those comments literally destroy the guy's future where he could do much better things to prevent worsening if he was actually in active phase of peyronies.

Bubba dawg

Have you tried supplements? How about vitamin c , e , raw honey, collagen  , tribullus , cayenne pepper. Eat baby spinach and kale every day. Super foods. Eat enzymes probiotics daily. Maybe attack your problem this way.  This is what I am now doing. There are a lot of supplements and foods that will help your skin. Reduce inflammation. Improve your arteries. Reduce pain. Takes a lot of research. Trial and error. Things will take time to improve, if they do at all. I would not do mega doses of anything

I'm taking pentox, fish oils, multivitamin, extra vimin D and C and do intermittent fasting. Other than that I try to do some strength training 3x per week and shoot some hoops regularly. I'm in decent shape, not much more I can do than take care of my body as much as possible.
