Hi,

I can get hard but normally it is not as hard as I used to be able to get. Furthermore, right before I ejaculate, my penis goes soft. I still ejaculate but my penis is soft whilst ejaculating. Furthermore, sometimes I wake up with erections and sometimes I don't.

What should I ask my GP for? ( oral treatments / VED ... ?)
Furthermore, should I get some sort of imaging done (ultrasound ...) in order to determine the cause of the Erectile Dysfunction?

Also, if my penis improves with the supplements Im taking, will my ED get better? Or will it not get better even if the penis improves?

Your doc may suggest one of the PDE5 inhibitors such as viagra or cialis to see if that will allow you to maintain your Erection through ejaculation.  Also, a low daily dose may bring back your NTE and help the health of your penis. Your doc can do an color Doppler ultrasound to diagnose if needed.

You should be prepared to ask for a Doppler to determine the cause and not just treat the symptom.  Sometimes ED is a symptom of potentially serious issues.  Otherwise, the doctor might just give you a PDE5 inhibitor and wish you well.  It is difficult to know if you might get better and eventually not need the medication since we have no clue what the cause is.  Generally speaking, Erectile Dysfunction does not usually get better unless it has a psychological component that is dealt with.  There are other exceptions.
