I suppose like many of you you found this forum after your diagnosis.

I have suffered fro ED for about 15 years and for the most part viagra worked well until about two years ago when it was a sometimes it worked and other times all I got was a headache.

About a year ago I decided with the encouragement of my wife to get checked out. So I got referrred to urology and they have. An ED clinic where that is about all they see for the most part.  The doctor said we could try the aprostadil suppository or the injection after discussing the pro's and con's I decided to go with the injection. I loved  and so did my wife the prep time was shorter than pill and the suppository great erections no headache.

I had my return visit with them everything checked out, no problems.  A couple of months later I had some foot surgery and was recovering at home when I noticed a curve to my erection  it didn't think much of it, it was slightly painful and during sex it hurt a little bit more.  I just chalked it up to he injection being off a little.  About two weeks later the curve was worse and getting hard was very painful.  My wife encouraged me to see the urologist.  The next morning when I called I got an appointment just a few days after.

At the appointment the urologist reviewed my history to make sure nothing was missing from the notes.  Had me use the injection so he could measure the curve as he felt a lump in my shaft and was pretty sure it was Peyronies Disease.

He did his measurements and sated I have mild peyronies. And suggest an implant to solve both my my ED and and Peyronies Disease. Being kind of stunned I said I wasn't sure I was ready for a permanent erction and he said it would be an inflatable one.  Still not being sure of the surgery option I asked what else and he said we could try pentoxifylline three times a day.

The cursve seems to still be getting worse, but following some suggestions from the doctor and other sites I currently using a vacuum pump twice a day and taking the meds.  The next appointment I have is around the first of February.
Erectile dysfunction since 2004. Tried Viagra, then Caverject.
Diagnosed with Peyronies September 2018 trying Pentoxifylline

Welcome to the forum Quester!

You are in the best support and information site around.  If you are now considering an implant we have a board exclusively for discussion on implants in th ED section of the forum below.  I am 3 months post-op myself.  Like you, my Peyronies Disease was a result of injections.  The implant is the best decision I have made concerning my sexual health in the 15 years since I had a prostatectomy.

The key is to find the best high-volume sugeon you can because all outcomes are not the same.
