Hi everyone,

I developed Peyronie's disease 1 year after stopping masturbation. I'm 28. I had problems having proper erections after I stopped masturbating. Then after a few months, this was solved. Then, it started out of nowhere. My erections just started hurting. And a few days later (less than a week I think) I realised I had a huge lump in my penis.

I went to a few doctors and none of them knew what it was. I checked online and I went to a urologist with my self-diagnosis but he said it's no Peyronie's. He still prescribed vitamin E because he said these are small calcifications but no Peyronie's. I started taking vitamin E but it had no effect and I think it even made me a bit anxious and depressed.

I went to another urologist who said it's probably Peyronie's but there's nothing to do. He prescribed an anti-inflammatory for 1 week, which made the lump much smaller after just a few days. This was 1 month after Peyronie's appeared, or a bit more maybe 2 months. My erections were still hurting and the lump was still there. And I saw a small bend to the right that started appearing (although the lump was not clearly on one side but around the whole top of the penis). I stopped taking the vitamin E.

I tried many things, local anti-inflammatory (definitely don't do that, I had an allergic reaction, my penis looked really ugly, that was funny), the toothbrush technique (just hurt without doing anything).

I then found the iontophoresis technique with Verapamil. I googled it and found a doctor who does it in my city. I went there and did sessions for 1 month where he would apply iontophoresis on my penis 3 times per week with Verapamil and Cortisol (anti-inflammatory). He also prescribed Pentoxifylline and L-arginine. I took that everyday for 2 months. Meanwhile, the bend started to appear upwards as well. I could still have sex. After 3-4 sessions, my penis started hurting much less (while in erection, didn't hurt when soft). I stopped taking the medication and my penis was still hurting a bit and a bit bent to the right and upwards. Now, 2 months after I stopped the iontophoresis treatment and 1 month after stopping the medications, the pain went away (this happened little by little) and the bend suddenly disappeared very recently. I feel like this is a miracle, it feels amazing. My penis is back to normal. Thank God.

Really happy you're all sorted out mate.

The problem with these situations, is that every single time someone has had an 'I'm totally cured' story it has been somenoe who has only had it a few months.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

How nobody saw it coming ?
in the "Androtherm Application for the Peyronie's Disease"
The transdermal electrophoresis [19] could be effective for the treatment combined with definite drug-therapy called "trasdermal electromotive drug-therapy" (EMDTA) [20].

This placebo controlled, double-blind study used Orgotein (8 mg), Dexamethasone (8 mg), and Lydocaine (120 mg) for 20 min three times a week for three weeks. The plaque reduction was 79%, the curvature improvement 62%, and the pain reduction 100%.

Others had also used EMDA with Dexamethasone + Verapamil combination [21], also compared to the Lidocain effect alone [22].

EMDA application with Verapamil alone [23] was also effective.

Good find YoungFella :)
It is interesting indeed why no one see it before. Will be good to know what happened from 2013 also.

Congratulations! There must be different types of peyrones. I have no lumps. There are cases where peyrones spontaneously disappears with no treatment. That is why they say give it 6 months before seeking treatment. Whatever works. Maybe I will ask my doctor about this kind of treatment
5 Rounds of Xiaflex. Good results.

Please don't wait six months without treatment as most cases will progress when it could possibly be stalled or improved.

I wouldn't wait 6 months before going to a Doctor. I would go to a doctor asap and get diagnosed. Do what he or she says

Age 25
Mid July 2018 - Assumed I had peyroines

March 2019 - Did an doppler ultrasound in flaccid state, no plaque or scar was found. Blood flow was normal

Turns out it's cogential.

@Sambaji which particular antiinflammatory was prescribed to you that decreased the size of the lump within days?
