Alright so the last 10 months have been a ride to say the least. With the onset of my Peyronies Disease, dealing with erection pain, Pentox, a dozen horrendous, nightmarish, traumatizing and humiliating Uro visits, Sildenafil and 4 rounds of Xiaflex, one of the most aggravating issues is my loss of sensitivity during sex of any kind, which causes me to lose the erection.
Unless I use very rapid strokes or hand movement, I never even approach orgasm. Now, during sex I mean as fast, hard and deep as I absolutely can gives me about a 50% chance maybe... very sporadic and iffy if I can keep the erection or not. Very frustrating. Even with Viagra 100mg it only last 15-20 min. Sex just feels different. I can still feel friction, wetness, warmth etc, but it just seems like it doesn't make it to that part of the brain that used to go "OH YEAH!!" when it was no problem before...

Anybody else ever experienced this or have advice? Part of it may well be mental and worrying surely won't help.

My issue is the exact opposite of yours.  I can't last at all anymore.  Between my wife not wanting to hurt me and all my physical issues lately I've developed PE.  For both of us on opposite ends of the spectrum it really is frustrating isn't it.  I hope both of us can find solutions

I've developed a bit of PE too. I can't workout whether it's the bend putting extra pressure on my penis, or all the supplements that promote bloodflow and general hornyism. Or it could be i've stopped masturbation and have cutdown sex to once or twice a month  during the acute stage, which means i'm horny as hell when i do get round to it.

John,

I moved your post to this board.  Can you tell us a little about your erectile dysfunction ?  What do you do currently to get an erection?  Does it work?

If you are not very firm during intercourse it can definitely reduce the friction and delay orgasm.  Not only that but it can aggravate Peyronies Disease because you cause the penis to collapse in an accordion-like action that puts stress on the penis.

Thanks Hawk.

Yes, getting an erection is rarely a problem... It's keeping it up that is. Starts off fine than just wilts away even DURING penetration which, as you said, leads to even more possible injury.

I do believe that some of it is the pure trauma that I've gone through mentally and physically with the Peyronies Disease and the treatments/injections for it. I think I'm so worried about mire damage that I can't focus on the good parts for the bad entering my mind. She is also very worried that I'll injure myself so it effects her too.

It is often not just a failure to be able to have mentally arousing thoughts.  Stress, fear, anxiety, or anger, all-cause adrenalin production.  Adrenalin production kills erections in two ways.  it's release increases the blood flow to major muscles, and reduces the blood flow to smaller blood vessels, including those in the penis.  Adrenaline also increases the levels of an enzyme called type 5 phosphodiesterase (PDE5), which counteracts the effects of nitric oxide (NO).  As I recall they compete for the same cell receptors.  NO increase you get an erection.  PDE5 increases, you go flaccid.  That is exactly what performance anxiety is all about.  It is far more than a distraction from sexual thoughts.  It is a chemical assault on your erection.  Sometimes it is almost at a subconscious level.  You do not actually think you are worrying or stressed but your body is creating high adrenalin levels and high PDE5 levels.  This blocks the Nitric Oxide which is supposed to relax the arteries increasing blood flow to the penis.

The cycle goes, I wonder if my Peyronies is getting worse (adrenalin)(PDE5).  It seems my erections are failing (more adrenalin) (more PDE5).  My erection can barely sustain intercourse (even more adrenalin) (even more PDE5).  Oh no, I lost my erection, it is getting worse, I wonder if this is going to happen the next time (you are now primed for another chemical flood or PDE5 to block your Nitric Oxide the next time you have sex.
