Floppy - New to the forum and on Countdown to an Implant

I would like to introduce myself to this forum. I'm 66 years old had mild ed before Prostate surgery June 1st/2018 nerve spared right side parcial left psa 0 no signs of erection. Trimix and Bimix don't work but hurt for 4 hours. VED sucks too many tools not working as expected. Next option implant. I have done my research and have come to the conclusion that I will have surgery . In 10 days, the scheduling was done in July after realization that if I wait for two years. Statistically  if I did regain something of an erection it would not be worth much. Life is to short to bet on a long shot. If the trimix wouldn't work for more that a few minutes and not good enough for sex. I was then diagnosed as Venus leakage. I've met some good guys on FT but it's not possible to get true trusted info on doctors without ruffling feathers. So next week I'll post a day by day journal for a while during my recovery. And give my own unbiased opinion on Dr. J. F. Eid the doctor I  spoke  to and feel comfortable with.

It is great to have you here.  You are in great hands with Dr. Eid.  I trust the surgeon and I truly love the man.  I will be closely following your progress as will others here.

I saw a post this morning where the FT administrator responded to you telling you that there can be no reviews of doctors on that site because it would turn into doctor advertising.  WHAT WAS BEYOND BELIEF was that his post was right next to an advertisement for Penile Implant Institute which is a surgeon advertisement for doing implant surgery.  ?  Do you know how hard it was for me not to post " Yeh! We don't want to do any doctor advertising on this forum except for the blatant paid doctor advertising that is just to the left of my post"  ssshhhhsss  

Posting that would almost be worth the ban it would earn me.

Welcome floppy.  Congrats on your decision to move forward w an implant and w Dr Eid.  I went w a local high volume excellent doc, but if I were able to go off my insurance it world be w Dr Eid.  I look forward to following your progress.  tony
