SonnyJim,,

My personal opinion is that I have never known of ED dramatically improving.  If a 100mg Viagra does not make it possible for you to have sustained satisfying intercourse then the likelihood is that in five years it still won't.  In the short-term, all you can do is the following:  Take 2,000 mg of L-Arginine with a 100 mg Viagra to see if that helps.  Beware, this intensifies the artery-relaxing action of Viagra and any side-effects of low blood pressure you may get (dizziness, and fainting).  You could also try a cock ring with that combination or a VED without a ring to get the process started.  Finally, you could always use a VED and a ring.

ED is not like a fine wine.  It does NOT get better with age.  Few good things happen while you wait.

I do not know much about you.  If you want to help others help you then you should go to the menu - click on PROFILE -> FORUM PROFILE -> then fill out the signature section with age, very brief issues/treatments.  Even better is to go to the History board on the forum and fill out a history and put a link in to your history in your signature as I have.

Hey Sonny... You need to realize that Ed will never improve. NEVER. No amount of asking or posts in the forum asking the same thing over and over will help you out. Get used to the idea of having problems getting it up, and that that's your new reality. What you should be thinking about is how you are going to fix it the best way possible, and that you are not doing.
Let that sink in

Sonnyjames,

I am glad Pfract jumped in because I had the sense from looking over your posts that you are very distressed about your condition but rather than that stress motivating you to action that it has immobilized you.

I have fought this battle so I feel for you.  Because of that, I am going to cut through the bull and give it to you straight.  Complaining, lamenting, repetitive asking, hanging out on a forum, will not help ED.  The only thing that will is to use the information here and develop a strategy.  Decide what might work that you have not tried.
If your problem is significant ED then this is pretty much the list as far as I am concerned.

1. Prescriptions with or without L-arginine, with or without a cock ring
2. A VED for intercourse
3. An implant

You might notice injections is not there.  I think you would be a fool to inject if you have plaque.  Make your selection from that list and decide if the first two work AND if you are satisfied with them as a solution.  If not then you are at #3 and you need to start the process.

You alternative is learn to master and enjoy non-penetrative sex.

The one thing you can do if you get no erections day or night is to take half of a 50mg Trazadone (Prescription) at night with a snack.  It might give you NTE's that will help keep the penis tissue a bit more health as you implement a long-term solution.

What would you consider a long term solution because obviously if I can't do anything to improve things now I better start thinking about an implant.

The problem is the NHS still cannot tell me what is wrong with me so they won't fund it and I don't have the money to pay for it myself... £15,000 is a lot of money.

I know NOTHING about navigating or dealing with the NHS.  Many here do.  All I can tell you is to learn what you have to do to work your way through the system.  Generally, if you call enough, pester enough, get enough appointments, fail enough other treatments you will finally get some attention.  If you go to the implant board, Peyronies_Dave is in the process now and he is going through the NHS.  Maybe he can give you some info.  Thanks for Posting Dr. Eid's Overview - Peyronies Society Forums

If you cannot work through NHS because for some weird reason you can never qualify then you are back to solution 1 or 2 in my post.  There is the possibility to try muse or a trimix solution you put in the urethra which might not cause plaque but I am pretty uninformed about that.  It is the one thing I have never tried.

I have an implant and I am 10 weeks post op and very, very happy with the outcome.

From what I recall reading, the docs found no plaque for sonnyjim, so injections may be an option.  If so, it's crucial to compress the injection site for 8-9 minutes to prevent trauma from internal bleeding-but try the oral or suppository prescriptions first.

I agree with this completely!

They found no plaque but I believe they are wrong or the test wasn't done properly as I can feel something is there even without touching it, like it is pressing a nerve or something is constricted. Can also feel more than one cord like lump.

Is there not a surgery to just remove whatever is causing this or is it not that simple ?

I never had ED before this and I know ED doesn't get better with time but I hoped that if it was caused by these lumps that maybe I could regain some function if they were gone.

My signature line disappeared or I never did it properly.  Now, I can't figure it out—are there any instructions?

SonnyJim,

Unfortunately from everything I have read ED usually does not get better. However, I have read stories where people managed to cure their underlying conditions - some had peyronies, some suspected they had mondors or inflamed  lymp vessel and their erectile dysfunction did improve.

Try the usual protocol of supplements, perhaps VED, PDE5 inhibitors and see a different urologist if necessary.

Sometimes your ED can be mental and stress related as well so try to refrain from porn and masturbation and keep a positive outlook - it could improve things.

Hoping things improve for all of us.
