If you want to go heavy on C, the best way to do that is probably to use the time release variety.  The body is rather sensitive to vitamin C levels in the blood and if they get very high, the kidneys get rid of it.  That is why when they use vitamin C for cancer treatment, they do it intravenously and NOT orally.  - George

now that you mention it, what i have is the time release type. so maybe i'm ok?

Actually The best way to go heavy on C is with "LET" vitamin C.  It is short for Liposomal encapsilation technology.  There are now several companies that sell it.  They claim it is actually equal or better than IV vitamin C.

One company is called Livon Labs.  You can Google on it and read about it.  It is expensive.  It costs just under $30 a month to take 1000mg of encapsulated C a day.

You can also make it your self at home for pennies using an inexpensive ultrasonic cleaner.  The core ingredients are Lecithin and powdered vitamn C. Some people buffer it with baking soda.  If you can make brownies you can figue out how to make this stuff.

Of course Livon Labs says the DIYers can't make it nearly as  good as they can.  They do use a different process.  I have read some independant sources that say the DIY at home version is pretty darn good.   I personally know a doctor (the MD version) who makes it at home and takes it every day.
You can also encapsulate glutathionone which is not well absorbed orally. It is one of the best anti-oxidants that is produced by the liver.  Many cancer patients take it in their IV drips.  They say once encapsulated it is very well absorbed.

If anyone wants to look in to LET there is a Yahoo group devoted to this and all of the info is there.

I am temped to get into making it.  NOT so much for peyronies but just for general overll health and preventative measures.

Here is the yahoo group: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/DIY-LET/. Definitely seems interesting.

I get my vitamin C from Emergen-C (I've been using the kind that also contains MSM) and dissolve a packet in a small water bottle that I drink from throughout the day. I wonder if you can buy that in a bulk powder form instead of the packets.

Povera me

Well, OK. Here is my progress in a nutshell. Injured in late December 2012. Diagnosed in Januray by my GP. Saw my Uro in February. Thanks to these boards, I have been taking:

Acetyl L-Carnitine (prescribed)
Pentox, 400 mg 3Xday (prescribed)
Vitamin E, Gamma, 100 MG 3Xday (prescribed)
Ubiquinol, 100 mg 3Xday
Vitamin D3, 2Xday
Multivitamin, 1Xday
Saw Palmetto, 2Xday
Cialis (not so much as I do not currently have ED problems like I used to).

I avoid Argnine because it causes canker sore flare-ups, but will take it followed by Lysine if needed.

I take pictures before I go to the Euro and as of last month, the Peyronies was still progressing, with the top curving to the left now 45 and moving past. It also is moving up. My Uro said that he didn't feel the Pentox was helping. So, he prescrbed Potaba. I am about to go on it, (I told him I should continue on Pentox, because there was no way to ascertain whether the progression indeed not helped by Pentox, vs. slowed down by the Pentox.) I fear taking the Potaba and it's after affects so have asked the pharmacist to just give me a week's supply to determine how I will react. However the after affects on my pocket-book are diminished because the generic for Potaba was posted on these here boards. Thanks! I did ask the Dr. for a prescription for VED, which he wrote.

The good news is that my Dentist was amazed at the lack of placque build up on my teeth and asked me what I was doing differently. I said I was hand brushing because my Sonicare stopped working. Also had my heart checked and they were amazed at how healthy it was for a man my age. So, I guess, side effects of all of this is a healthy heart and clean teeth. Now, if we could just get the dick to straighten...

LMP

Been on Pentox for around a month now. Two weeks on 1 a day, then went on 2 a day, will eventually try 3. Really noticed how the pain has decreased especially flaccid. I was in a lot of pain before.

Urologist wouldn't prescribe it, said it wouldn't help. Had to get my own off online. A godsend so far.

River are a safe source indeed. Me and other members bought from them.
But you have to check the customs policies in your country!!!

River Pharmacy is currently out of Pentox and they told me that they don't know when they will get more. Does anyone know another reputable seller?

Hey everyone,  I haven't been here for a long time because I've been taking pentox and am completely asymptomatic. However, that's all subject to change now because I'm running very low on it. I've got less than 2 months left, and AllDayChemist doesn't stock it anymore. Checked River Pharmacy and they don't either. What am I to do? Is there a legit source for it?

I've tried getting it on the NHS but the doctor was useless. Said that he couldn't give me it because I didn't have any symptoms and the data was circumstantial. I agreed that it was proven to work in my circumstance and the reason I didn't have any symptoms was because I was taking the drug. He wouldn't budge though  :(

Ok so I've been sitting on a Pentox rx for 6 months...what I'm trying to determine is does it help with curvature at all? I see some people say this helped a lot...what does that mean?  I don't have any pain...no ED...only thing I'm on is Androgel for Low T...45 degree upward curve for going on 5 years now...

Pentox didn't helped me with curve and bent I have but eliminated my hourglasses (together with VED and low dose Cialis)
