Hi everyone

Thanks for taking the time to read my info and any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm 25 and from the uk. About 2 months ago I injured my dick due to excessive masterbation one day. There was no noticeable snap but when I cams to mastsrbate 2 days later I couldn't achieve any erection. I waited a few days and then attempted to have sex with a girl I started seeing. This proved painful and I could only go gently. Clearly I should've stopped but in the situation I didn't make the best decision. Things didn't improve so I went to my gp. He told ms to wait a week before sexual activity. I did and went to masterbate after 10 days. This was way too soon.. my dick almost seemed to collapse in my hand. I was careful to avoid the side I'd previously injured. It was like the tissue was completely soft. So now my dick is shorter on one side causing it to massively hang to the left when flaccid or erect. After another few weeks I started having sex again. The shape was different but I figured I could just adapt to this. Things were not completely back to normal but I thought things can't get any worse.. I was naive and wrong. After one session with the girl on top I felt a numb feeling around the base and suddenly couldn't get any erection at all. I then went to a urologist who called it bruising of the tissue. He told me rest for 2/3 weeks. My erections were returning so after 2 weeks I masterbated a few times. This was a month ago and I haven't had an erection since. I returned to the urologist and he suggested the tissue was still in recovery and I'd acted too soon. The string of sexual activity over the last two months has contributed to loss of length and girth as it has healed as hard scar tissue which cannot be expanded? In terms of what to do next he just told me to try using viagra and see what happens.. so that's where I am now, a shorter, thinner dick that doesn't get any erections, night or day, with women or even on my own if i try to masterbate. I tried viagra which worked at first but I think it made things worse again. It now doesn't work. Any advice would be much appreciated. From any sort of treatments to a way to live my life positively in these circumstances. I've looked up implants but not sure where to look next. I'm aware i messed up my recovery. I appreciate this isn't specifically related to Peyronies but I'm not sure where else to turn and am beginning to develop strong suicidal thoughts as I fear the level of damage has left me impotent in the long run.

Thanks

Sam

Hey man... Forget Viagra and go for daily cialis. Either the two or the five mg. Also try to get a referral to an androlmogist that is able to follow up your situation. Just want you to know that there's always the possibility for an implant, so you can have sex again.

Hi Sam,

I can 100% understand your situation as I am also 26 years old. I suggest you to see the best andrologist you can and follow his treatment.
And maintaining a positive psychological state is the most important thing. I know this is so hard and Peyronie's is the worst disease for a healthy young men. Probably hanging out with friends and working out are helpful. Never compare yourself with other people or the person you used to be.
As for implant, I am almost sure that I will get it later in my life. FT is the website for people fighting with ED. Members there can provide you useful info.
Stay strong man.

Hi, sorry to reply you in this post. I wonder why you prefer cialis over viagra? Is that because cialis is longer lasted or for some other reasons? I only tried generic liquid Viagra for one time before my Peyronie's, and it worked great. But after Peyronie's, either generic or authentic Viagra pills have very little effect. Thank you.

Thanks for the responses guys. The psychological part of this has been very difficult to overcome. Both in terms of what the future holds and lifestyle changes this brings about, as well as the self hate for causing the injury and being naive and allowing it to get to this stage. A few questions:

Is daily cialis something that can be bought online or is it something I'd need to have prescribed by a urologist or andrologist?

In terms of an implant, I read that you lose size as a result? Seeing as I've lost a lot of size over the course of the injury is there a danger I'm going to end up too small to have sex? I'm just over 5 inches erect but haven't had one for a few weeks now... not sure on girth size..

Thanks for the help once again, and good luck to all of you with your battles!

Cialis daily is better for cases like this, because it lasts for 36 hours, instead of the shorter duration from Viagra.

Also, you don't loose size if you go to a proper implant surgeon. But you have to access your true condition first. Blood flow tests, and decide on a course of action and learn what to expect and what you can do.

Can anyone recommend where to go in terms of enquiring about an implant in the uk? South east/ London ideally (but obviously for something this important I'd fly half way around the world for the best option. The urologist I've seen just questioned why I didn't rest and told me I was too young for an implant and that he didn't perform them..

Sam, since this board is for introductions I am going to give you a link to our implant board so you can make a new topic and post your question there.  You will find a lot of good information in the sticky posts at the top of the board as well.  I am 9 weeks post-op with an implant.  I live in the US but I can help answer any implant questions you have.  I am sure that many here can answer how to navigate your NHS

Hey man. We're here for you. In my opinion any scar tissue in the penis counts as Peyronie's, however if it's due to injury I believe it should be treated differently than an average person with Peyronie's. Please visit a GOOD doctor. Levine, Lue, Gelman, and others listed on the site. Don't waste your time with average urologists. Most are not competent to deal with sex health issues. For now just STOP masturbating. I know it's hard. If you can't stop at least do once every two weeks.
Penis injury in late 2017. A lump formed at injury site that caused no deformity, just pain and a palpable lump. Pain is improving through proper rest and use, diet, and mindfulness. I am always learning and looking to share things that have helped.
